Mitra & Samael (Low Level, Hard, Extra Enemy Turn) - SMT Nocturne HD

The last formality before the endgame.
Rules:
- EXP gain must be minimised, limited to forced encounters where possible
- Using Bright Might or Dark Might for guaranteed crits is forbidden
- Use of demons from the Maniax/Chronicle release is forbidden (This includes Fiends, Beelzebub, Black Frost, Futomimi, Metatron, Sakahagi and Dante/Raidou)
- The goal is to collect all Magatama and achieve the True Demon Ending
Mitra - 0:18
The last mandatory boss of the Diet Building, Mitra is actually far less challenging than all of the previous ones. For whatever reason he only has one press turn normally (two with the mod) and he has a measly 4500 HP. His skills aren't even that impressive, he mostly uses Dragon Eye and spams Mamudoon and Mahamaon. The game clearly wants him to be treated with some gravitas but he's weirdly trivial.

If you side against Shijima you must fight Samael. I'm doing this fight for the sake of demonstration and also because Mitra is a pushover but I won't be keeping the EXP from this fight since it is technically optional. Samael has a non-trivial amount of health and turns and can actually do some interesting things. Most notable of which is his unique skill God's Curse which applies random status effects to the party and is technically an almighty skill and so can only be mitigated by being fully immune to all status. For this purpose I fused a Kusi Mitama with 20 agility so it would always go first and be able to Prayer to cure the rest of the party's status effects. Besides this he also has Megidola, Megidolaon, Maragidyne, Retailate, Dekunda, Dekaja and Rakukaja. He's not the hardest boss by any stretch but he's worth taking more seriously than Mitra

What Mitra thinks he's doing: Measuring the nature of the Demi-Fiend's heart. What Mitra's actually doing: Using loaded questions as an excuse to commit murder. Using a Mitama in combat is a very cool strategy.
