I was in a 10 yr relationship with someone from freshmen yr in high school to 2016 and he never wanted to marry. Not just me but he didn't want to ever get married. Thru our 10 years he proposed to me but 1 thing I'll always remember is back in like 2009-2010 ish we were at a house party and some guy physically sexual assaulted me and I told him the day after and he didn't do anything. Nothing. Nada. I couldn't believe it. We would see this person out and I would beg him to say something to atleast scare him. And he wouldn't. That right there showed me, yup he doesn't value me, my body or our relationship in general. I WOULD NEVER TREAT SOMEONE LIKE THAT.

So I was seeing this guy for like 5 years, he treated me good, paid for everything, took me everywhere, he was also nice to me, I was genuinely considering marrying him but he was filthy. Every time I stepped in to his car I would have to push aside weeks old McDonalds wrappers and food and bit of dirt and fluffy before I could sit down. He always had an excuse for it so I didn't mind. The first time I went to his house I was grossed out. It was a complete mess and he said that he tidied it but his siblings ((all aged 21+++)) had messed it up. Ok faiirrrr i guess ?? But every other time I went to his house it wasn't much better. It looked and smelled just like his car, like musty and dirty 🤢! He eventually moved out of his parents house and got his own place and his house was even worse than his old room. I stepped inside and there was weeks old laundry not even in a hamper or in a designated space, it was just all kicked in to the side of the walls to form paths around the house!!!!! Every time I was there, there would be dishes pilled SO HIGH in the kitchen, it was almost like instead of just washing the dishes, he would just buy more plates!!!!!!!!!!! I kid you not when I say his kitchen counter was an L shape and it was COVERED HIGH in unwashed dishes!!!!!! And again !?!??? He would ALWAYS have excuses for the mess but the worst was this table he had in the living room. It was a huge tall table, if you can imagine a King's table with a feast on it, large, high and long, well he had a table like this but it was COVERED in rubbish!!!! Empty pizza boxes, bottles, crisp packers, the lot!!!! And it was like this EVERY TIME!!!!! And I don't even WANT TO DESCRIBE THE BATHROOM!!!! And you know what ? I can forgive clutter. I can forgive a mess. but what I can't forgive is FILTH: old food, old crumbs, old laundry, hair all over the place, pizza crusts stuffed down the couches, absolutely not. Every time I envisioned my future with him, all I could see was myself as the maid, constantly picking up after this 30 year old man, and I just couldn't do it.

Does choosing mean marry and commit or dating? Cause there's a vast difference. Many men will date the fun, sexually active woman and then marry the less sexually experienced woman afterwards. Not saying that's all scenarios, but it's kind of like the argument Marilyn Monroe vs. Jackie Kennedy. Both women are beautiful and intelligent, but they're both known distinctly for certain attributes. Marilyn was the talented and glamorous actress and Jackie was the intelligent and loyal first Lady. Playboy John was "alleged" to have an affair with Marilyn, however he stayed with Jackie. I say this a Marilyn Monroe fan and also a sympathizer for both Jackie and Marilyn, I'm not saying this to demean one group and uplift the other.

One thing that bothers me is how insecure she sounds when she says things. Putting men on a pedestal while bringing women down. We don't need more of that, especially from our own gender. Bring people up so we can progress together.

My thing is, you can criticize women who don't share your views or lifestyle all you want, but you don't have to put women down. Women like Pearl put women down, not even to spread a message like "oh be more modest because it's a good feminine value" or whatever, but because it's what will make you desirable for men. All her arguments are about being more desirable for men. It's crazy. And no I don't agree with anything at all she says, everyone should be able to live their lives as they want without hurting others.

Another thing about the statistic that 70-somthing-percent of divorces are started by women, is it doesn't take into account who left the relationship first. Because men can just get up and leave, completely walk out on their families but then it's left to the women to actually do the work of filing for divorce. I'd be curious to see what the numbers would look like if that was factored in. Men will purposefully hold back from signing divorce papers to drag things out and legally keep women trapped.

I'm really annoyed with this whole male role model obsession as well. As nice as it is to have a father the world isn't always like that. You could end up having one mom, two mothers or grow up without any male relatives. As long as your parent/guardian has common sense you're good. But saying that you're lacking an integral piece of yourself because you don't have male role models is nonsensical. The statistics of children raised without fathers is more to do with public perception rather than some missing male energy. A woman depending on a male relative just because he's a man is demeaning to that woman and the rest of her female relatives. The above is true in the reverse. What's between your legs doesn't matter, only what's between your ears. Men and women are capable of both amazing and heinous feats. 🦆

I agree so much, it annoys me so much and is extremely agonizing. Like why is the father/male figure always given favour to? (Or in most cases). When the mother/female figure deserves equal acknowledgement which she is not given even 1% of it? Anytime I defend women the men on KZbin are calling me a hoe and saying I will die alone. When I have a boyfriend that pays all my bills while I take care of the home. I just don't see the point in trying to bring another woman down for her choices.

I honestly hate people who generalize the way she does. It’s ridiculous and it’s giving major I’m NoT LiKe OtHeR GiRLs vibes. The truth is that to be in a good relationship you need to find someone who values the same things as you and then spend years trying to loosen up your sphincter every time they don’t close the drawers all the way. Relationships are personal and they are between people who are in them and what works for one couple will not for another - saying “men like this” “women need to be like that” is all her insecurities speaking up because she feels like she needs to be a certain specific way to please men. I find the opposite is true - the less you give F* the more of them are drawn to you.

🦆On the part where you said “Bring your partner around your family and friends.” I absolutely agree with that. I have brought guys around my family who straight away showed their true colors immediately. They disrespected my mother. Talked smack about my sister. Mouthed off to my friends. And I knew right away that that person was not the one for me. I met my current partner and they are respectful towards my family and pair well with my friends. They don’t become irrate assholes when they don’t get their way or lose at video games. They aren’t rude to service workers. They just make sense. I really enjoyed your video as always! ❤ 🦆

This is actually yr best video imo. A lot of these folks are lost, & it shows. Everyone needs a dose of reality & to stop complicating everything & trying to “use” their dates. Those of us with husbands/ wives/ partners get called “pick me” when in reality we are simply following the Golden Rule & treating other people the way we’d like to be treated.

The people who say things like Pearl does, only want this vicious cycle to continue. Hating men/women just further drives each other apart instead of creating community and love with one another. They want respect, but still tear each other down to try to make themselves appear better. The quintessential pick-me.

I don’t agree with this notion that certain people are attractive and the rest of us are all just regular. Societal norms of attractiveness are pretty ridiculous. Basically if you’re famous/rich and have the means to invest in your appearance/health, you’re attractive. In an everyday world with no modifications, Kylie Jenner would be considered ordinary too.

I think what Salem meant was more like the majority of people that aren't famous or rich enough to have the resources to invest in their appearances like crazy at their disposal don't conform to the beauty standards of today, which are, quite ridiculous. I don't think she necessarily meant that everyone that's not super rich or a celebrity is just mid or average. But yes, without modifications, Kylie Jenner would just likely be seen as ordinary. But that's not the case. It's just the truth that most regular people don't have the resources to invest copious amounts of resources into their appearances.

I've never understood why equality did not actually stand for equality, whether it's gender, race or sexuality. Men and women can exist in the same space and be of equal value. Nobody needs to tear down another person to bring themselves or someone else up. No-one is asking that either.

Talking about modern dating, mix in dating in your 40's. My bff started dating someone totally different from her normal guy. He's amazing and treats her like a total princess. We were all hanging out at his place and I had a really bad allergic reaction to the wood stove and dust. He is installing an air purifier so I can keep coming over and hanging out. I told her he's a keeper because if this is how he treats the friends he's going to continue treating her like a princess and her kids like they're the most amazing people on the planet.

" 'I'm a 10!' Modern Woman HUMBLED" then the clip shows a girl talking beautifully about how she doesn't care anymore how she's perceived by other people, because after a long time feeling bad about herself for "not being anyone's first choice", she finally feels happy and comfortable with who she is, and that probably "makes her an 8" clickbait much? 🦆

Basically, i think that she has found the way to make money by using her own low self-esteem issues to manipulate men. Her manipulative skills are pretty good, i can tell that. She chooses very carefully her guests(women and men) and knows how to handle the conversation to get from her women guests the behavior that she wants, in order to make them look crazy, loud, immature or even silly. Many men are falling for that, because that's pretty much their idea for women too. And this is how you have a recipe for success...
