I love your new kitchen! Please update us as you start using some of these new things. I bought a dishwasher similar to your's but Whirlpool brand, it has the top 3rd rack for silverware too. I personally am disappointed with that feature. It doesn't seem to get them clean. 😕

My also. It is a way of making the dishwasher child proof. Nothing like being in the middle of a cycle and a kid comes along and pushes a button stopping it or starting it all over again! Been there, done that far too many times!

I really like the darker window sills. It looks like a happy mistake to me. It adds a beautiful contrast. Your kitchen will be so lovely when you move in with all your colorful kitchen items. FYI, you do have to open most dishwashers to access buttons. Helps with the little kids running around.

Well, the darker windowsills are out. It was a hard choice, but I wanted to follow what I saw in my head. The new windowsills will be installed later in September. We'll see how it turns out 😊

I saw Mrs Cridels post about the quartz too and I constantly use my air fryer on 400....I found a beautiful wood cutting board and placed under mine. Protects my counter and is aesthetically pleasing as well. I am sorry, but I had to laugh about the dish washers. That is how they are all being done now. You press your buttons before you close the door. You dont have to try and stick your fingers in there to "find them" When we got ours a few years back, my hubby had the same reaction you did. LOL I love it because the grands cant keep pushing buttons

My dishwasher is like that. You just press the buttons when it’s open and it starts when you close it. My old house had a dishwasher just like that too! Hope that helps :)

I realize it’s just a matter of personal preference but I think those window sills are gorgeous in the all white kitchen. They pop beautifully. Looks like you picked up the darkest shade in the flooring.

I absolutely love the window sills!! It brings out the dark areas in the flooring. I wouldn't change it. But, I know how it is to have your heart set on certain things....so, I get it. To not lose the remote I would recommend sticking Velcro to the back of the remote, so you can stick it inside of a cabinet etc

Just beautiful. The pops of color for your stove will be bright colored Dutch ovens cooking away. Those pops of color can be ever changing. Art work, pottery, tea kettle, towels, flowers, fruit bowl. Having a neutral base is going to be key to being able to constantly redecorate and update. You wont regret it!!

I use Clear Tempered Glass Cutting Board / Scratch Resistant, Heat Resistant to protect my quartz countertops. I keep one on each side of the stove, plus more where needed. I like that the quartz design shows through. I have two different sizes that work for different areas in the kitchen. Your new kitchen is absolutely gorgeous!

The white in a kitchen is perfect, Jamerrill, in my opinion. White is easy to clean and just makes food preparation sites seem clean, fresh and germ-free. I'm so happy for you, patience is a virtue and you've had that in abundance in your baby kitchen but I can feel your excitement in this beautiful space that you've created. I'm doing my 3rd white kitchen (of my own) in addition to many more here in NYC - I'm in the biz. You've done a great job with "OTC" materials, Jammerill! The only thing I'd do differently: spray paint your stools/chairs to an ivory/beige/warm grey that matches the floor/lighting fixtures/countertops. You're playing with warm whites, not cold, for the most part, and those metal chairs/stools spray paint beautifully. xoxo Edit: Also, you could use a bit of contrast... I'd do a beige/warm grey.

An old school noodle board works great to keep on the counter near the stove to put hot things on. Mine actually sits on top of my glass-top stove to keep the family from dropping things on it. I slide it off to cook and am getting ready to order another one from the designer to put over my sink that will work as a cutting board with a small hole it in to drop trash through the garbage disposal. Love your kitchen!!

I thought that on those types of dishwashers, you're supposed to push the buttons you need and then close it and it will start. I don't think you're supposed to be able to see them while it's closed. They are purposely hidden.

Hooray! It looks amazing!!! We have the same lantern tile backsplash, we have a Zline cooktop (LOVE!), and we also have an 18 seat table that we built. The table has been such a blessing. We have 12 children (only 7 left at home) and 11 grand children, so along with the stools at our island, we can seat everyone when they're all here. Well done and congratulations!

I started watching you about 6 months ago an girl you are awesome. I've gotten great tips from you . I've had my grandsons from another state so we've had a large family when usually its family of 3 and now family of 7 an I've pulled it off because I took some of your tips an they have worked .I've had them for month and now time for them to go back home .
