Thank you for sharing your most recent video. What you said, in the video, sounds interesting. Although I have a bookkeeping and accounting business as you know of, I may have to learn about QuickBooks, because that's one thing I don't have in my business. Hopefully, I will be trained in that, so if I do bookkeeping and accounting using QuickBooks, as clients these days want, I believe I can be proficient in this, so I can continue to do this sort of work, not only for current clients, but also so I can obtain more clients. I do look forward to seeing more of your upcoming videos if you will have any, and also hope your business will continue to be successful.

If your client doesn’t give you receipts, how do you know what accounts to code their expenses to in their G/L?

Simply ask them and keep a spreadsheet for future reference. In time, you won't need to ask them very often except for the occasional new transaction you come across.

As for starting your own KZbin channel and encouraging other bookkeepers, Morgan recommends starting small with what you know. Hi! Yes, I do like QBO invoicing & payment. That's actually what I've used primarily to invoice clients. It does have a fee (similar to other payment processers), so if you can find a free option, that's always nice (payroll, paper check, bank transfer, Melio). But, the QBO one is super convenient!

Hey! Morgan does not think it's necessary to have an LLC if you are only doing your own bookkeeping. If you take on clients later on, though, Morgan recommends setting up an LLC. Krista (FinePoints Admin)
