Today, for the first time ever in my 3 years of daily yoga with Adriene, I finally managed to pull off a full crow and watched it fly for about 5 seconds! I'm so happy I wanted to share it with this beautiful community. Also if there's anyone out there struggling with this pose like me, please don't let frustration take over you. It took me 3 years to do it. Every body and every experience is unique. What matters is total surrender to the flow and trusting that it will happen when the right time comes and in the meantime truly enjoying the process, the journey alongside Adriene and sweet Benji. Thank you Adriene for everything! Sending so much love to this amazing community! 🥰🤩🤗💗💕🙏🐦 LOVE - Day 11 June, 2023 🌈

I’m not normally someone who cries during yoga, but today as I looked down at my feet waving back and forth, I was overcome with a sense of compassion for my inner child. Then, as I reached my arm up and around to give myself a hug, the tears began to fall. The actual child-me so often felt unsafe, and because I was only a child, there was nothing I could do to protect her/myself. But now, as an adult, I’m learning that I CAN protect my inner child, and that is a gift that I cherish.

There is something invaluable that I could only learn through at home yoga practice Adriene's style. Self acceptance, surrender, loose the fear to do the pose "wrong", "too slow", "too fast", or take variations, do things my own style. Little by little along three years I came loosing the fear to all of this on the matt, and unwittingly, also little by little I came to do it off the matt. Off course there are some moments like today whereI have to do things that have been historically challenging for me such as family meetings. But even in moments like that, even knowing they might not come as I expect them, I don't feel as discouraged and frightened and stressed as in the past. And despite all the grattitude I feel for my past live yoga lessons, my first yoga teacher who helped me to carefully and precisely build the foundations for my yoga practice. It was and is Adriene's style and the privacy of "at home" practice that gave me the ultimate freedom to claim my right of being humanly imperfect and most importantly to carve my own way in toga and find my own yoga style according to the dtage pf my life I am going through!!! Namaste!!!🙏🌷

I felt great at the start but somehow even better now. I have to admit that even though I love and readily submit to the gentle sequences we had this week prior on the calendar, I really should incorporate or supplement movement like in this one more often. My left hip let me know that! All is good though as I did manage a brief crow and overall found more stability this time around with this lovely Texas park video than I had on prior occasions. I did have to laugh again during the first triangle pose when Adriene asks if we had the seen the bird. No, Adriene, my eyes were gazing up at the ceiling, lol. Enjoy a lovely Sunday, everyone, or whatever day this finds you. Still day 24. 385 days in a row.

First time writing a comment on this channel because this practice always leaves me feeling great! This is the third time I’ve done this video AND the first time I’ve felt like I did crow successfully. It really felt like flying, people! Anyway, when I did this the first time, I was feeling a bit down about my practice and this video made me feel like I can do it! So today I started this video with the mantra “I am capable”. It was a bit rough on me this time but boy do I feel awesomeee! So figured this video deserves my first comment. Namaste everyone, keep going and you’ll get there. Wow. Working through so much the last two days. This time I felt very connected, yet slightly distracted from a lovers spat last night, and then at the end when Adriene said to imagine your feet as as a sweet innocent child, I burst into tears. My feet have always been a sensitive area for me. They’re “too big, not pretty” all the negatives that I was told as a child. Then the hugs at the end, I finally saw it as my younger self reaching out for love, guidance, acceptance. Instead of realizing I have the power within. I take my power back, and my responsibility for my attitude! We can’t control what others do, how they react, or how they feel. But we have control over our breath, and being present in each and every moment. Thank you Adriene, and everyone joining me. This is real yoga, and I can’t believe Adriene has offered this for FREE for so many years. 🙏🏼 eternally grateful, see you all tomorrow! Namaste 🙏🏼 ❤

Over a year ago I was in a place of crisis in my life, I stumbled upon your 30 days of yoga and it really helped open up my heart, and mind and helped me mend some places of pain and uncertaintity. Thank you for always making the exact videos I need. When I started yoga a year ago, I was lost as a person, was struggling with my mental health and was in an unhealhty and unsupportive relationship that came to a very heartbreaking end. Over the last 6 months of doing daily yoga I have noticed not only the physical fruits of my practice but also the mental. Thank you so much for being you, and for your amazing mantra's that have helped me mend and heal and to help me off the mat. One of my favourite things you say is " relax and let it unfold" I use this mantra often when I am stressed and it helped me climb a mountain in Peru. I am deeply grateful for your videos and the community around the world of people practicing yoga!

Today, I’ve gotten so sick of it, so when I came to the mat I decided to fully surrender. I closed my eyes a lot, that allowed me to fully feel my body and every muscle. And I felt so good, it’s like I experienced yoga in a new way. I moved so easily and I was so connected to my body and core. I even did the mountain climbers with joy even though I’ve never liked them. I absolutely loved this practice! Feeling so much better now. Thank you, Adriene and YWA community💜💜💜

Congratulations! I held mine for the first time for 3 seconds about a month ago and you would have thought I just won the lottery, I was so excited! I am now able t hold it for 10 seconds (though not every attempt!)' And am working to lengthen the time. So keep working on it - you've got this! Now go celebrate!

Adriene, I had to swap today’s practice for Gentle Yoga - 25 Minute Morning Sequence. This senior yogi, still generally isolating SO much, feeling sad 😢it’s affecting my arthritis, so I choose my daily yoga carefully as you are my saviour Adriene for mind and body🙏💕🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️see you tomorrow on the mat 💞

Something that helps me with pain is where you go outside and stand barefoot on the earth. I try to do it once in the morning and once in the evening. I learned about it on a documentary called “The Earthing Movie” Hope that helps with your arthritis!

I feel like I have no fear! Seriously though, this practice I focused on staying present and feeling my body. It's becoming more and more natural to do so and I love all the reminders Adriene puts through her videos like "surrender" and "strength in your core" - these are all things I am trying to embody off the mat and yoga is my daily reminder of those things. Thank you so much, Adriene! Lots of love coming from the Cayman Islands.

Haven't tried crow for a long time, so my expectations were low- but I actually held maybe 3-5 seconds. That's good for me. A try it and see attitude is helpful. Maybe I can take that into the next work week. . . Enjoy your day, everyone. Be safe if you are in the southeastern US.

Greetings Sara! I haven't done crow in a long time too since a procedure, however, I'm slowly, yet surly getting my groove back. It's nice to meet you and thanks for the well wishes. I'm in the Southern area of USA. There were some power outages, although not for my husband and I. It was quite windy, yet we're great. Namaste and Ase 🦋❤️🦋

I've been practicing with Adriene on and off for a while. I discovered her when I ran to a super sore neck from carrying so much. This No Fear practice has got to be one of my favorites. I feel awesome right now! Thank you!

Today was a cool milestone for me- I've now done yoga every day for a full year! I started True with a group of friends in May 2020, and I just kept going after that! Some days I was looking forward to getting on the mat all day, and some days it was a real struggle, but I decided to show up no matter what. I've made so much progress, although not always in a straight line. There were a lot of times where I felt a plateau, and then eventually I'd do a pose I hadn't done in a while and shock myself with what I could do. It's been a true journey, and I just want to say thank you, Adriene- this channel has given me so much at a time when I really needed it.

I love this practice! So much silliness. So cute to see Adriene getting distracted so easily like myself, I was all in and invested for that buttercup😂 Felt so good, never wanted to end. My body feels fresh. My neck doesn't hurt anymore 🎉 August 2024

Very very NIceeee! must be 1 of my top outdoor yoga videos by Adriene and YWA. Regardless of what ever back drop (outdoor) I cant see to focus or enjoy (as much as I feel less distracted indoor) but this flow / video was so at ease and everything just click Cow - open and Cat surrender - love the analogy! and that lady from your yoga class who said about falling - LOVE it! such humility and wisdom! Thank you as I feel more at ease, open, mindful and relaxed! Namaste to all practising. May the light in me find the light in you!

Lovely practice. I tend to lead a very anxious life always worrying and wondering what will come next so this practice felt great. It definitely requires full attention and to get out of your head. Thank you as always Adriene and community.
