I keep forgetting sometimes how magical the Northern Lights is. I live in Northern Norway and see them every winter, so to me they are a common phenomenon in the darken sky.

Thank you for the slow motion video of the géiser. I enjoyed watching the surface tension broken. It was like a ballon blown so much and then popping. Those pictures were gorgeous. When y’all settle down you should print the best of the best pictures or have a photo album with one picture from each country, in order.

Northern Lights in my home state are to this day one of the most beautiful and wondrous things I have seen. Even in my travels. So awesome you got to see a taste of them in Iceland. those poor cows. I have had my ..um utters swollen with milk. IT HURTS...so that? Man, it was sympathy pains like when a guy sees another guy get kicked in the jewels. Homemade ice cream? Seems fantastic...but those poor cows.

When we first started experimenting some of our vlogs were so dramatic in the cinematic sequences it's hard to watch looking back haha, most people mess up to begin with. Keep on killing it, a bit gutted we can't make it to the Vespa Mission :)

Nate's sister did an awesome job planning; we were in Iceland in 2018 and I grew up with AuPairs, so my Icelandic AuPair took us everywhere, and you nailed pretty much everything they chose... the spots to visit and the food; from the Cows ice cream to the Tomato restaurant, even the gas station burger! We did not do the blue lagoon, but another, and a 'locals only' abandoned pool in the highlands. We didn't see the Northern Lights; we went in May and the sun pretty much never set. They also told us that the reason everything is so expensive, is that they decided to really make money off tourism. So they doubled what everything costs, and doubled the salaries of everyone who lives there. Thus, twice as much tourist revenue comes in. That being said, healthy good food is still cheaper (while being doubled!) than it is in the US. Here's a FUNNY story, her husbands Uncle had gone away to essentially, 'fat camp' to lose weight... he was caught sneaking out with a friend visiting the steam vents, and they had a sack of sausages they were cooking in the steam coming out of the ground! :D !!!

We looked at eating at that restaurant, but since I don't like tomatoes we skipped it. Icelandic food might be super expensive, but it is delicious!! Strokkur was amazing! Love the blue bubble that forms right before it erupts. We were lucky enough to see it erupt three times in a minute and a half while we were there! It was averaging every seven minutes the whole time we were there. So insanely jealous you saw the northern lights!

For no particular reason, I thought I'd bring up that I think it's hilarious that the Brits pronounce 'geyser' as 'geezer', which means "an eccentric old man" on this side of the pond. Geysers erupt, for the record. Fantastic northern lights pix. Thanks.
