Oregon is a rapidly evolving wine making area in the United States and is mostly associated with its Pinot Noir wines. However, there are other notable grape varieties grown in this region, such as Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. In this video I talk about the Oregon Wine Country, its appellations (such as Willamette Valley, Walla Walla and Souther Oregon) and wines made there.
And make sure to also watch my video about Pinot Noir grape variety: • Wine Grapes 101: PINOT...

Great overview! Very familiar with Domaine Drouhin and Alexana as a wine club member of both...top choices among many there.

This video is very informative. Thank you! I recently bought a pinot gris from the Adelsheim winery. It has all those qualities you mention, plus a hint of lemon. It has a lot of character. I recommend it.

Oregon whites especially Pinot Gris are great. Some of the Pinots Noirs can be over oaked I’ve found. I’ve enjoyed wines from Domaine Serene, Beaux Freres and Domaine Drouhin. Looks nice and chilly there Agnese……

Speaking as an Oregonian, I will definitely attest that we drink the majority of our wine… and also a lot of wine from other states and countries too…… we like to drink wine 😂❤

My backyard, three of my favorites: Beckham, they make all their wines in amphore. St. Innocents, well established great value. Domaine Serene, expensive but worth it. Cheers from Oregon

I was reading about Beckham only when I came back, and felt very sorry that I didn’t go to visit them. 🥲 and I actually was trying to have a visit at Domaine Serene, but one of the locals dissuaded me. 🤷‍♀️ Thank You for the comment, cheers! 🥂

Ah, you are in my backyard! I live just on the edge of the Willamette Valley. A very good review of the area and, yes, your pronunciation of Van Duzer is spot on. Cheers.

This channel is the best! But I dont like much the "No Sediment" name, because the sediment is such a plus for wines, so characteristic, interesting, remotes to its production and aging, cellaring, it says so much of a wine. Sediments are so totally underrated, and the channel doesnt help to better rate sediments, but this my opinion, not more than that.

I will take this as the greatest compliment. But when did the age started to correlate with education?
