Lamb Pilou Ingredients List:
3 cups rice - wash until clear water and leave in cold water for 30 mins
1 kg boneless lamb leg - leg of lamb cut
4 tbsp ghee, 4 tbsp oil
1 sliced onion for garnishing the Pilou
Garam masala (whole spices), 2 Bay leaf (Tez Pata), 2 cinnamon (cassia bark), 4 Cardimon
Spice mix:
1 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp ground coriander powder, 2 tsp curry powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp chilli powder
3 tsp salt (salt to taste)
After adding the meat and the 3 cups of rice please add 4.5 cups of boiling water for 3 cups rice.
Mango pickle - 6-8 pieces
4 green chillies - broken in halves
Coriander for garnish.
