Yup, I don't even understand how people can play without NCs. It is really useful on 4/4 taps that are stacked on top of each other when you are playing hidden.

Pishifat, these videos are really good. why? it gave me a whole different way of seeing maps, effecting how I make maps in Osu! I ALWAYS think of circular flow, how to change it, and when to change it when making a map. it's easy to make & understand, but it's pretty important. thanks :)

One more use for NCs is managing followpoints. Take a look at the jumps shown at 1:48. If there were less NCs, there would be weird crisscross followpoints everywhere and it would look awful.

Wish you mentioned something about syncopation as that's a good exception to the general rules you have. For instance, in this map: osu.ppy.sh/b/840338, you have some of the “downbeats” falling on the red ticks instead of the white ticks, and so an appropriate NC pattern would be something like this: puu.sh/sh4aU/72fa9f7e76.jpg.

Great video as always, I'm wondering if you can talk about using timing sections intuitively? Whenever I open a ranked map in the editor there are so many timing sections and the 4 or 5 on my own maps have me feeling I am neglecting this feature! I wonder if this is the same for anyone else?
