Congratulations to you both. I know first hand how hard IVF is, my wife and I had several complete failed cycles and I know how it tears you apart. It’s absolutely horrible. But then something amazing happens and you get to experience unconditional love and is amazing. 14 months after our baby boy was born we conceived again naturally, without even trying. our daughter is 5 months old and they are both very healthy. I wish you both all the best from the bottom of my heart Steve. With tears in my eyes I write this knowing full well what you both went through. Congratulations mate fatherhood is the best!

Mate........just brought back some painful memories. 6 years of IVF Canberra and Sydney.....with no success. Cycle after cycle it wasn't to be but we kept on saying what if the next go is the one that works. The pain my wife and I went through physically and emotionally has made us stronger but the pain of not having our own doesn't go away. Happy for you both and never let go of either of them mate, they're vwr special.

Congratulations to you and Leanne, Steve!!! We did 5 years of IVF, and dropped well in excess of $150k at multiple IVF clinics... It's a prick of a process, invasive on your life, emotions and in particularly your wallet... That being said we managed to get 3 viable embryos after round 6, of which we transferred 2, both of which took and held, and at 7 weeks prem, we've had a boy and a girl, who are now 7 and a half years old! It's a wild ride mate, thanks for sharing your story and enjoy every moment!! Cheers, Andrew

Mate I completely know where you are coming from. Me and my wife have been going through icsi for 8 years. We spent over 140k and it continuously kept failing. The emotional impact it had on both of us was massive more so my wife. I was working away while the wife had to go through most of it on her own. Went through 8 cycles and we were on our 9th last year. The 4th embryo was going to be our last one we just couldn't do it any more emotional and financially. Nearly cost us our marriage and me I nearly fell back in to my addiction because of all that we had been through, but we made it with the support and love for each other in our 10 year relationship. If it didn't work this time we were going to sell up all our houses and possessions and just travel the world and what ever was going to happen was. Well last year on the 30th of June we welcomed our little girl in to this world named Carter rose from that last embryo. Am so happy for you guys and your little bundle of joy, congratulations mate wish you all the best

We found out she was pregnant a second time with the 3rd embryo and was told by the nurses she had lost it. But she hadn't, and we now have a beautiful daughter that is nearly 4 years old. I think because you go through so much heartache this way it makes you appreciate it so much more. I am thankful everyday we have her. I am so happy for you mate. Mate, I remember the IVF days like they were yesterday, makes me well up thinking about it! My wife and I did 4 complete rounds of IVF as my wife only produced 1 or 2 viable eggs each time. To make it more harder, I had "lazy" swimmers. I remember the emotional swings and the pain my wife would go through. You think it will be easy, but when it fails it's like a punch in the guts that's hard to get up from. But somehow you just find a way to go back for another round. I was an emotional wreck after 3 attempts and I wasn't really doing anything, my wife was doing the heavy lifting. My wife being the stubborn woman she is wanted a fourth go and I reluctantly agreed. To this day, I am so glad she's stubborn because the fourth round worked and we were blessed with our daughter Sienna who is now 5. I am so happy that you guys had success in the end and to the people that are trying just know that there are people out there that know your pain and are there for you. There's no shame is showing emotions, sometimes that what you have to do to keep on going. Now I have to explain to the missus that a 4WD video has made me emotional :)

Congratulations mate, this brought tears to my eyes bud, my wife and I spent around 5 years going though the IVF process, which had its up and downs. We had our beautiful daughter on what would be our last attempt, have since had 2 more girls naturally, good on you for sharing it with the world, all the best for your new family,

Well done mate. My cousin and wife tried for many many years including IVF. Finally success. After their first child the other 3 were all very very easy without IVF. Well done.

Hahaha. Thanks mate. Yeah it’s an incredible story, which is why I wanted to share it with my KZbin family. It’s the magic of social media. You only see what I want you to see. 😆. This is also why she stopped coming on trips, I had heaps of ppl ask me why she doesn’t go on trips anymore. Even had someone tell me that she’s a bitch because she doesn’t come camping. Ppl need to realize there’s a lot that goes on behind closed doors.

Australian 4x4 Adventures lol I did notice she disappeared just thought she only like going on the low key trips, you know where you only take 1 camera. Still scratching my head, will have to look back at dusty adventures, didn't notice a baby bump, please pass on my well wishes and good luck with your sleep
@Australian4x4Adventures4 жыл бұрын
She was about 15 weeks back then so only a very small bump. Plus I made sure I didn’t put those shots in the videos. ( still more of that series to come ).
