Not to be a dick with a KZbin PhD, but what I thought would be tendon injuries in my fingers when rock climbing/bouldering can also be a "pulley" injury. It's what keeps your tendons close and parallel with the digits of your fingers. That's how I've come to understand it but figured it might help if you're looking for rehab methods. Congrats on all the success and thanks for the motivation to keep training these past few years!

Only having two contact points makes it rough for sure. In a race you can always walk, but for this record you have to do always do a clean pull-up for it to count so there is no easy way around it

Brother you made pull ups your entire identity to just prove you are hard - you have proven it. Do something meaningful and climb your own mountain, your identity shouldn't be based on that interaction for validation. You can do this - you already know you can - its been achieved. Find your own mountain - trust me. Feels like this all stems from the first time you met Goggins, thats not a bad thing - but time to climb your own mountain.
