I 100% agree, I feel like after the wandavision Mephisto disaster, and then spiderman no way home making a bazillion dollars, the temptation to go absolutely nuts with just giving the fans exactly what they want at the expense of the pacing and just generally making a good story was there, and I was worried that they’d go to far and we’d end up with people getting replaced with alternate versions of themselves and all of that ridiculousness. Marvel has time and time again shown that they’re restrained when they need to be in the ways Sony and dc aren’t and good at what they do, but the worry was definitely there. Something i found interesting is the fact that America said she didn't know of any Spidermen from any of the many universes she had been to. The Spiderverse is probably the section of the multiverse we know the most of and yet she hasn't visited any of them, seems interesting that they'd make a point of mentioning that...

I think ultimately the reason why Tom Cruise didn’t decide to be Iron Man in this is because he probably didn’t like the fact his character would’ve been axed and he would’ve had very little screen time. He’s not as chill as Brad Pitt apparently with a one second cameo.

2 interesting thoughts regarding Illuminate members in this reality: 1. Yes, Xavier is in cartoon accurate wheelchair, but this was also the wheelchair he was gifted by Lilandra in the comics. This could very well be a universe where the X-men are not Earth-bound and the Phoenix Saga could possibly play out closer to the original comic roots. 2. I think Maria Rambo still works for the Kree. She was wearing that version of the costume. This would explain how Wanda beat her by dropping a statue on her. Her powers were still being dampened by the Kree. Plus, I’m curious about the Wanda of this reality. Does she use her powers regularly and is she a member of the Avengers?
