Recent-ish Vinyl Pickups

That’s a cracking haul of vinyl. I’ve tried to like Ghost so many times as I love their imagery - the album art for Prequelle is superb and has a lot of detail in there. Unfortunately they’re just not for me. Killing Joke however will always be a favourite.

I have a lot of Killing Joke albums, but that singles comp would be nice to have too. I have a pretty low grade mp3 rip of the original release of 'At Home with the Munsters'. I could do with an upgrade. I have the first 3 Regal Worm albums, but not 'The Hideous Goblink'. I found a review that compared it to Magma, so I definitely need to get a copy... and it has a Shadmock on the cover! You've convinced me that I want to hear the Steve Moore 'Mayhem' soundtrack too.

I'm still unsure of Ghost lol but when I first saw pics of them my first thought vocal wise was going to be like King Diamond/Merciful Fate. Lol . Music wise i have a random taste from metal to Black Metal to Hair Metal, classical, Horror Punk anything catchy or has a good hook which pulls you in. 🤣🤣 Horror movie soundtracks (not the rock band compilations ones) I really enjoy. And you got to love the Italian Zombie/Horror soundtracks they are always upbeat and gloriously cheesy 👍

Nice pick up with the Regal Worm album. They're an excellent band - I'd recommend their earlier albums too which to my mind are even better. Never saw the Munsters album in the RSD lists - is it just dialogue? I'm currently working my way through season 2 of the show. Tempted by the mayhem soundtrack - not seen the movie - wasn't Steve Moore the guy from Zombi? Would love to have that Dario Argento comp. I picked up the Frisson des Vampires soundtrack last year - excellent album. BTW are you aware of the Library of the Occult record label? If not I think the stuff they put out would be right up your alley - check out their bandcamp page. Cheers... Pete
