YEAH, i thought the same when i saw him swing the gun the first time. he feels how to move, how fast and in what angle and distance and at what time to get the best result. The movement looks like the automated sprayguns in the car manufacturing paintbooths. OK those get programmed after masters like him so i guess thats why its similar...

Always remember that the debris the dry ice cleaner takes out has to go somewhere. I expect it'll land on your freshly cleaned Rolls or something else that you didn't want to get dirty. Looks great! New owner is going to be a happy camper.

Watching this painter in action was mesmerizing. His control of speed in his gun travel was notable. Speed appeared to be directly related to distance from spray tip to surface, as expected, but his control indicates years of development of muscle memory, Just really pleasant to observe.

The best car I've ever owned was an 07 montego blue 335i. Bought it wrecked with a clean title from the original owner, an older asian piano professor. It looked legitimately showroom condition and had a Dinan tune since new. Enjoyed it for 2 years and sold it, immediately regretting it. I bought it back about a year later and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. I finally sold it with close to 200k miles and still running like a beast. Found it being parted out on CL a few months later after being wrapped around a telephone pole. RIP, I miss that car every day.

If you ever get your sunroof and headliner off like that, you should absolutely buy some CLD tiles and put them on the roof. It's a large, thin panel that flexes and will oscillate. By adding those CLD tiles you will remove the movement and it will make your car a bit quieter. It's especially amazing when you're in the rain.

A tip if you're gonna be removing a lot of plastic interior pieces, run the heat for a while before taking things out and it'll soften the plastic a little and make it easier to work with and harder for things to snap.

I live in a place where outside temps go 35-37 Celsius and i removed a trim yesterday and it still snapped so that has nothing to do with it.

When I get one that dirty, instead of vacuuming, I spend that time just removing the seats and console. Then hang it on a fence or a wall, spray in down with super clean , brush it and then pressure wash it and the matts. Everyone just loves the results , the clean smell and clean under the seats and down by the seat rails. When I personally saw what came out of the first one I did like that, I knew then, I was on to something of great value to everyone concerned. As you know, some people get pretty funky in a vehicle for some reason, and that funk, I can live without , for sure.

I always find it mesmerizing watching a pro applying a multi-stage paint job particularly the transformation from the satin finish of the base coat to the high-gloss as the clear is applied.

I always oil the filter, let it soak for 10 min, re oil any spots that you missed then use a cloth to absorb any excess oil, then blow the filter out with some low pressure air to help remove any excess oil and reabsorb with another rag.

Not to complain much but at 19:50 the view of the left rear area on the roof shows fine scratches in reflection of the light. I would hope and expect to see no fine scratches and be totally glossy.look like a mirror. Maybe I'm wrong about this be my eyesight is still plenty sharp to see them. Nice work! The E92s are rapidly becoming classics. The powerhouse N54 engine, the sleek, no-nonsense styling, the ride quality and the steering from when BMWs actually had feedback through the steering wheel. You WILL regret selling it.

35:50 I really dont think you have enough oil on those filters. The spray oil can is pretty lame, they do one with oil in a squeeze bottle, its better than the aerosol, you can get the oil on the top of each pleat and it will give it that uniform red look they have when new. 👍👍😎😎

I had the same issue with the mirror, what I did was hold the mirror around where it should be while the mirrors are folded in then hit the botton and let it align it self.

Alex power wash the fence and use Home Depot Behr solid stain (10 year warranty). Stuff lasts and you can pick your color. Great videos🤙🏻

wow nice finish on that paint. my buddy had the exact same car and color. Had* he fishtailed, spun, jumped a curb, and chopped a tree down with the passenger side. luckily he was alone and not injured. super nice work on that bmw!
