Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

I just bought one of these yesterday. I used mine today and just rinsed off our cars, with no soap. I bought this pressure washer for small jobs and I think I'm really going to like it. I'm going to try this on my deck to see if it will take off the dirt (never stained the deck after it was installed, but its time to do so). Thanks for the great video!

I bought this unit 3 days ago. Didnt see any reviews on it . Main reason i got it was to wash my cars using Foam cannon and it makes it easier to wash. Love that its not as loud as a gas compressor or gas power washer. And it shuts off as soon as you release the trigger. Making it easy to listen to my wife if she randomly starts talking to me while im using it.

I have this pressure washer. The button for the extending handle is perfect where it is. It doubles as a carrying handle. If the button was on the grip, you wouldnt be able to lift the washer with the handle retracted to carry it around. Also, FYI if you leave the soap tank empty, it will pulse on and off while you're not using it. I recommend filling it with water if you don't want to add soap. The hose is honestly the only thing I don't like about this unit. I feel like it becomes a whole ordeal winding and unwinding the hose, to the point where I just use a regular garden hose unless a pressure washer is absolutely necessary. Recently though, I bought a hose reel for this, and a longer hose. It bolts and clamps down on the "roll cage" at the top of the pressure washer and makes this unit waayyy easier to set up and put away. I use it a lot more now for everyday jobs around the house. It's listed on Amazon as "MEKOH Pressure Washer Hose Reel 50ft"

@Tiffany.Detailer2 жыл бұрын
As a detailer, I’ve been using my Sun Joe SPX2598-MAX 2000 PSI Pressure Washer, but need something smaller in size. I don’t know if my ratings are accurate as I’ve never tested them, but it works great (after adding quick connects and a new hose a couple years ago), but I need something smaller, more likely to sit in the backseat of a Honda Accord I was at Home Depot the other day and had the roll cage design (2000 Ryobi) in my cart as well as the lower 1900 PSI, 1800 PSI, and the 1600 psi (all Ryobi). So I look like crazy with 4 different pressure washers in my actual cart in the store, not sure which one to buy I decided not to pull the trigger and do some research which I’m so glad you are doing videos still as I took The past eight months on a Detailing break because of dealing with grief from a major loss plus the Arizona tea makes it so hard to want to detail when it’s 115° outside. So I was So happy to see that you are doing so well making all these videos and your channel has grown so much which is so great! Reading through the comments it sounds like they all work relatively the same (when tested), but if you were in my spot with those choices (unless the Dewalt roll cage design is back in stock today which to be honest is above what I’m looking to spend but will invest in it if it’s worth it/far more superior than the others) but with a Detail on a beautiful Toyota Tundra tomorrow, I was going to head to Home Depot again in a little bit to make a decision so I was wondering if you were going to pick one on those up from Home Depot today which one would you choose?
@imjoshv2 жыл бұрын
Hey Tiffany If space is the main concern i would get the 1600 or 1800 since the are smaller. With all of them i upgrade the hose and accessories, but as far as the internals go, they all get very close performance.
@Tiffany.Detailer2 жыл бұрын
@@imjoshv thank you for replying and so fast that I am still trying to edit my comment from before! lol but yes size is the factor for changing my machine so anything smaller than what I’m running right now will work great! I’m just afraid of losing the power that mine puts out. I need to go back and rewatch a few videos of yours and also reread some comments about the Ryobi line and how they all rate around the same level not sure what psi that is though, But if that’s the case and they all run about the same it would save me a couple hundred dollars to go for one of the smaller ones if they are really that similar. I really do love the Dewalt 2100 psi and Ryobi‘s 2000 psi both roll cage/suitcase type machines but I need to rewatch your videos and see if those are comparable, close to the ratings or not or if I should just buy a cheaper Ryobi. So that’s where I’m stuck is the actual in real life Tess of how they run because if they ran off of what they say my top 3 picks in order would be the 2100 Dewalt, the 2000 Ryobi or the 1900 Ryobi (as I don’t think I should buy something rated lower than 1900 if it tests much lower, but then again I am still learning which is why i’m writing you this novel asking for your advice and I appreciate you so much! I wish I had a pressure gauge so I could test my Sun Joe SPX 2598-MAX because I absolutely love it and it can even be too strong sometimes even with the 40° tip. The tips I use are the ones that came with the machine but I did switch everything else out as far as making everything quick connects, buying a new lance/gun currently it’s hooked up to the small purple gun which you suggested a few years back on one of your videos, so I bought it and have been using it ever sense! I also have had the blue flex hose saved in my Amazon favorites for a few years now, but I had just bought 2 of the PowerCare hoses fromHome Depot using a coupler to put them together making a super long hose right (before I knew about the flex hose) which have worked great. So I figured as soon as I’m ready to upgrade parts again, I’ll buy the blue flex hose that I’ve always wanted, definitely from one of your links because it’s the least I can do! I believe it was years ago when I was trying to figure out how to set up everything with quick connects in the first place is when I came across your channel. Now that I’m back from my break, I’ll be able to catch up on all your videos that you’ve made this year lol but I was really hoping to figure this out night so I don’t have to haul my big pressure washer in my car tomorrow morning but that’s totally on me and I appreciate everything you do and all the info you put out because it’s always helped me since I fist started! So it’s great to see your channel has grown and I hope it continues to grow because anyone in the Detailing world should know about you 🙂 So Trap this up, size wise all five of those options work great. I’m just a little confused about the ratings on each one and how they work in real life. I’m hoping I can quickly watch through your videos in between appointments today so I can run to Home Depot and buy the best bang for my buck hoping I can transfer all my added accessories such as hose, quick connects and that little purple gun over to the new machine without a problem before my detail early in the morning. So I guess it just depends on which of these smaller options Is actually close to its ratings, and if it’s powerful enough to be at or very close to what I’ve been using (Sun Joe SPX 2598- MAX which has a 13-amp motor and is rated at 2000 PSI and 1.6GPM) also if it’s durable enough to use as a weekly detailer and hopefully won’t break after a few uses as I hope to use this weekly for quite a while. I’m sorry I know that’s a lot and there’s so many machines out there which is why I appreciate you and your channel and your honest ratings so if any of that narrows it down and the best option youd go with pops in your mind, let me know! My plan is to buy it tonight as long as I can make time to still make it to my doctor appointment as I’ve been typing this the whole time so I’m sorry it’s extremely long, and if I can find a machine that is powerful yet small enough to fit in this category and it’s easy to switch over the quick connects and all the upgrades I’m hoping I can make it to either Home Depot or Lowe’s before they close tonight!

Great reveiw, as alaways. That hose may be new but it does suck. Only the Uberflex hose is the one everyone should consider and buy.

Just need something for my car and siding on my house , is this a good buy or the 1900 ???
@joshymcdaniel9233 Жыл бұрын
If you don’t need the cart/ wheels 1000% get the 1600 psi The 1600/1800/1900/2000 True story all produce the same psi Ryobi “claims” are misleading so get the 1600 for $99 and you’ll be more than happy’

I just bought this cause of the better housing and gun holder. But man compared to my 1800 psi, this thing is almost 3x the size. I might just go back to my Portland and return both 1800 this 2000 ryobi.

Hi. The RYOBI 1500 PSI 1.2 GPM battery powered pressure washer can syphon from a bucket, can this model be modified to do the same?

This is how some homes end up with 3 or 4 of the same machine/equipment. Every time something new comes out they gotta have it

I have this pressure washer I been doing washes on the side as of this week I will be starting my own detail service my concern is will it burn up and last with the demand? Or should I upgrade and get something like the active 2.0
@joshymcdaniel9233 Жыл бұрын
100% this is not a “commercial use” machine it will fail just being honest’ Buy once cry once’ You’re also loosing money because it will take you 2-3x MORE time to do the job than it would with the right tool’

Fantastic video!! Forgive my ignorance, but I heard you say that you always use a foam cannon rather than the on-board soap dispenser. My question is, Why? Is there a disadvantage using the soap dispenser? Thanks for any insight you can provide.
@mjmreptiles93223 жыл бұрын
As i learned from Josh, if you use the soap dispenser, the soap will travel through your hose. Then when you want pure water, there will be soap residue in the hose and you wont get pure rinsing water.
