Revisiting Smiley

Ten years ago, I pulled a DVD of the movie Smiley from a bargain bin in my hometown's dying Blockbuster. A little while later, I made a video about that movie. Ten years after that, I made this!

Smiley is a 2012 slasher movie directed by Michael Gallagher, starring Caitlin Gerard, Melanie Papalia, and Andrew James Allen with appearances by Keith David, Toby Turner, Shane Dawson, Roger Bart, and Liza Weil (who showed up in an episode of Gilmore Girls that I saw the other day and I was like, "wait a second" and then I was like "OH NO!!")

Always a joyous occasion when a fresh Nativebird appears, and on this day we got two! In the sense that the (delightful) BDG video you edited certainly has some of that Nativebirds umami. That original Smiley review was the first video of yours I ever watched and I do have a soft spot for a lot of those unlisted videos. I feel some of that regret of losing things you'll never get back, no matter how bad or embarrassing they are, I've had basically all my old KZbin videos lost or deleted (both on purpose and by accident). Losing that sense of progression and also losing a tangible way of looking back on memories through something that isn't just your brain does weight on you as you get older. Those times were valuable and are worth saving if you can. Also, imo, the original video is worth keeping simply for the Lebron running joke, it still gets me
