The 500E came with a 225 width tire, I used to own one, a 1994 E500. I change the wheel and tire to AMG 3 piece wheel for the SL600, and it solved the "grip" issue. If the 500E had large tire size like the Aristo, it will leave everything in the dust. note, the E500 front brakes are the same as the SL600!

Having owned both the JZX81 Mark II 2.5 GT and the JZS147 Aristo 3.0V, I can vouch for their heroic capabilities against much more expensive machines. The Mark II came with a clutch-type LSD and a 4.111 final ratio which really helped it launch very hard, and mine came with nice one-piece forged BBS wheels and 225 tires. In fact, it seemed to launch harder than the torquier, 245 rear-tired Aristo (mine came with factory staggered-sized wheels and tires) which was hampered by its Torsed LSD and 3.769 final ratio. Wished I had kept either one of these cars, especially the Aristo, but alas it was not to be.

プリメーラって純正の足意外と硬かったですよね

ガンさんは初代プリメーラを高速でスラロームした時に、スティックスリップ現象のUSが出る。それを補うために、リアをかたくして（リアの剛性自体そこそこはあると言ってました）USを消している。と僕は解釈しましたが。僕は仕事でボンゴに乗ってますが剛性が有るか無いかはわかりません。ボンゴのフロントはダブルウィッシュボーンなんやけどねえ…僕は素人やから元レーサーのインプレッションはわかりません。（ニュアンスはぼちぼちわかります）。現役やOBに意見出来る素人が羨ましいです。

14アリスト勝ってほしかったな。親戚のおじさんがNAの3.0Q最終型乗ってました。16アリストよりかっこいいと思います。オヤジセダンな80Mark2がドイツ勢をぶっちぎる姿がかっこよかったです。スカイラインセダンは確か警察車両で活躍したかな？

It's the same in motor vision de, German car always win and have everything best, ex in 2008 they compared newest 2008 passat with 2003 avensis ( pre lift which was already after lifting and its production was on finish) and it won by 0,5s, so I guess it was loosing with avensis after lifting which still had less power

That GS300 is turbocharged so its faster than the M5 thats only NA

Toyota Aristo with 2JZ-GTE has 275 hp. BMW M5 with S38 engine has 315 hp and later models 340. And the BMW is a manual where the Aristo is a 4 speed auto. I think the driver did not drive the M5 to its full potential.

マークⅡのメッキパーツ、めちゃめちゃ嫌がってるなぁ。 けど、そもそもクラウンの弟分なんだからアレぐらいは無いとアカンよ。こういう人が何でもかんでもカーボン柄に変えて貧乏くさくして喜んでるんやろなと思った。 こんなにも好み分かれるし、メーカーからしてみればセダンのコンセプト,立ち位置って難しいんやろね。こういう界隈ではスポーツカーキャラを貫いたスカイラインの勝ちやけど、販売面ではマークⅡそれもグランデ系が圧勝やったしな。

この時アリストってポテンシャルで言えば320～330psあったワケで E34のM5がカタログ馬力で350psくらいでしょ たらればの話だけど 280ps規制が無かったらもっと進化していて 2Jも高出力化していて16アリストになる頃は400psになっていて M5のライバルになっていたのかな？って想像しちゃう E39のM5が400psくらいでしょ 540iよりも16アリストの方が快適で速かったし。 充分ライバルになりえたよなぁ

排気量から考えれば過度な高ブーストでなくても330ps/50kgmくらいのスペックが妥当ですね👍重いボディーにはこれくらいトルク必要です🏋️🏋️🏎️🏎️🏎️
