I am on team sea lion. Humans endlessly tormenting wildlife and impinging on their space.

I live in San Diego and i dont blame the sea lions. Finally, he got his get back , for himself AND the homies. People (mostly tourists) have been harrassing them for years. They see all humans as a threat now. Even the ones who arent bothering them. Leave them tf alone!!!

The beaches belong to the sea lions

So weird that it would bite a man who was (ahem) clearly doing his best to stay away from the sea lion and leave it alone.

Yes. Biting humans is a rare sea lion behavior [except in South Africa - Rabies] BECAUSE over a couple hundred years time they learned to stay far away from humans because they'd get killed. Biting and other attacks will now become more common as they lose that well justified fear of man. They're kind of like Coyotes that way.
