Post pregnancy weight loss ku I can be an example. I dropped down from 82Kg to 60Kg now. I am not just pre pregnancy weight, I have went down below my pre marriage weight. I reached this when my kid turned 1.5. Took it very very slow. Now she is 3, I am strengthening my muscles now, and looking a lot smaller than my previous 60Kg, because muscle weighs more than fat of same size 😅. Almost my sister also has the same journey as mine as we were pregnant at the same time with 15 days apart delivery dates. Both of us are a big fan of you doc! Pregnancy is not a reason to lose on our health. :)

This talk is a refreshing pep talk for around-menopause women like me so much so that by the end of this video i was ready dressing to start the first session of workout immediately that Aparna suggested !! No more excuses !! Thank you doctor for this eye opening talk !

Hello doctor..... thank u so much , today's video was a eye opener for strength training...I have been in fitness for a long time like cardio and zumba.. but never felt better .... I started strength training 4days ago, I feel really good ..my last comment was in your video with anusha Kartik.. I told you I weighed 198 lbs and now with just intermittent fasting in 2weeks I weigh 194lbs now... thank u so much. .. will keep going .. and keep u posted

just what i needed..thank you doc..wonderful .. so relevant and so very informative... also strenth training is important ..i was always under the impression that cardio helps in reduction of fat...here i learnt that resistance training is the key

Wonderful! For her age she sounded quite knowledgeable. I think I need to start on the strength training now as I have hit the plateau (lost 17kgs in 4 months with time restricted feeding following circadian rhythm, 2 meals a day with Protein rich low carb food). I'm stuck at same weight for 2 weeks now (which is my halfway mark). Thanks for igniting that spark in me...which is very much needed to achieve my goal. Cheers!

I'm just over a month in my fitness journey. I started in a similar way... 15 mins in the gym in the evenings doing something I'm used to- like walking or running on the treadmill. Did that for a week and then slowly started incorporating calisthenics. My gym time increased on its own. I also started doing 15-20 mins of yoga in the mornings for flexibility and meditation- just before i start my day. Working a corporate job and managing my workout time had been a challenge initially, but I've been able to build a system that works for me. I've seen positive results in terms of my weight, skin, hair, and overall mood.

Can you tell us more about exercising during intermittent fast window? It is practically the only time I have for example to do a workout. Can you elaborate on it.

Thanks for the video. I am 41 yr old from Australia working as a Software Engineer. i have lost 10 kgs from 83 to 73 in 6 months with your time restricted feeding. Parallelly I have started going to gym from march and build up muscles. I kind request to invite a Dietitian who can advise on food for people with Gastritis or ulcer.

If we started a strength excercise as a beginner than reach to a good strength till a good streach for say 1yr and in case we are not able to continue for eg like we get pregnent etc or some other reason , will we gain weight after not able to continue it ?

Yes, If you stop exercising for more than 2 weeks you will slowly notice the muscle loss. You will gain weight if calories in more than calories out so try to keep your body active. Also, Pregnant women can still exercise by reducing their intensity. Hope this helps , thanks :)

Hi dr, your time ristricted feeding is excellent though is difficult to follow initially. Well i want you to check this RD fittness unlimited you tube channel, may be you have watched. He is really excellent. There is lot of takeaways from him really your time ristricted and his fitness gives a total vera level benefits to the viewers. Please check. Both of you are very motivating in your presentations. You both are enough to bring in the change for fitness to the world😊 yes this young girl is also motivating 👏

Yes. But everyone can lose weight at any age if they are consistent with diet and strength training. Fixing up the metabolism might be hard for elderly but it’s not impossible.
