This is the first video I have watched of "Simonster", and at first I thought "come on man, Simonster? Really?" After watching, I can see why. This guy is a MONSTER.
@robicelus9 жыл бұрын
It took me about 2 years of training (trained 2-3 days a week for the planche) and now I can only keep a straddle planche for about 10-15 seconds... I feel like I'm still far away from the real thing but I'll get there sooner or later. Good video though :) That track from K7 is one of those many"adrenaline" tracks I have in my playlist for the gym heh :D

+Redouan Ahrbil TV your right mate, adv tuck is the hardest, it took me a month and a half to get 10 secs on it, you just gotta train hard and not make excuses, right now I'm focusing and goin from adv tuck to straddle, and i train almost every day, I practice it after my train day and i take 1 min rest during training and 3 mins rest between attempts on my practice days, so i have yet to get that straddle

i've been into developing my body for 2 years now, and i have to say u would be the biggest inspiration i've ever gotten to learn breakdancing and planches for real not only to dream about it. One day if i am confident enough that i could actually say: "i know my shit", then i'll definitely show you what i've learned. I wish all of the best for you Simon, and don't ever stop evolving! Life happens, and often times people segregate from what they love because of work and other bullshit, but you always have to remember to do the thing(s) that make(s) you happy, and as it seems to you and me it's power moves, backflips and wicked push ups hehe. Peace out mayte!

This was a really useful video. It took me about four weeks of effort 3 times a week to go from a tuck to an ugly straddle planche and then an ugly full in another 2 months. However, it wasn't until roughly 2 years into regular practice that I could do a pretty looking full or straddle on the floor, and rings are still uncertain business on any given day of the week. I'm curious if anyone else here has trouble maintaining their primary lifts while focusing on this stuff too much. I find it difficult to keep up the deadlift/squat up without my lower half getting too heavy to keep this stuff up.

Straddle took me about 8 months. Biggest break though for me was when I started focusing more on my lean and less on my time holding advanced tuck. Don't push though wrist pain rest more if you need too. An injury will set you back way more than a little less practice!

been training 3/4 times a week on whole my upperbody for a year now, pretty strong i got and since a few weeks starting to focus on planche training, i am not flexible in my legs, cannot do a decent L-sit, i cannot handstand, i am practicing a lot on planche lean and push up variations and core training. i cannot do a tuck planche yet, maybe only for a few sec with lifted bars but not on the ground. also do a lot of pull ups but not muscle ups, cant wait to do the tuck planche and than build it out to a handstand. this is hardcore training. i see a lot of tutorials of how to get you to a skill but this looks way to easy, its real tough training
