Sadly she is disabled due to arthritis, pretty much confined to a wheelchair and requires assistance from a support worker when I'm at work. She's an inspiration to me though as she is able to still raise our children (both of which are also disabled) and allow them to continue to grow. At times I feel like I'm a bit useless as I'm not around as often as I wish I was (due to work mostly), but she assures me that I'm doing the best I can. I look at things quite differently than most people, our marriage is not conventional, our family is not normal, but honestly, I've seen normal and normal is boring. A true partnership with my wife and also my kids is what I truly value. 🙂
