perfect. i was trying to duplicate the machine trait to make it selectable by normal portraits so you didnt need to be gestalt but couldnt figure out the localization part. this helped perfectly

I bet you would know this one. I am interested in creating my own cityscape. Where are the stellaris cityscape folders? With what you've shown me in flags and traits, I believe I can handle it. Would that also require some localization too? thanks in advance.

I don't know if or when you'll make a tutorial for this, but I've been having a hell of a time trying to get a namelist to work. I used base game files and file structure as a template. Instead of the localised names it displays the localisation keys. I have no idea why it does this. Everything matches the base game file structure.

After watching your videos for Flag and Trait modding , I have a question about the localization files. can they be combined for the mod? Can I place then inside the mod folder? If so where in the mod folder would this combined localization file go?
