Welcome to the Resistance Stretching series. These are dynamic stretching based workouts with sculpting and energizing exercises to invigorate, yet relax the entire body. You will see advanced stretching and unique combination moves to challenge your mind and body. Lengthen and strengthen for a long, lean physique.
In Resistance Stretching Energize you will start with a wide plie sequence to warm up the body. Then go into a bent over swing and stretch combination. Next a tough Asian squat combination with hip circles and front and back steps. Then a cardio burst in down dog, with leg taps and knees. Then a kneeling to hover tuck sequence, a wide plank series, a triceps plank combination. Next a standing cardio burst, a hover with leg circles, a 3 legged dog set, deep shoulder stretches, a warrior 2 series with dynamic arm movements and a pigeon stretch and stacked leg stretch. Next an abs segment, deep leg stretches and finally a standing warrior 3 to front leg stretch sequence.

i am naturally flexible so maybe don't aim for my level, but just continue to work at it and you will get better eventually 😊

I enjoyed this workout so much. I did a low squat rather than an Asian one and that was as challenging. Felt great afterwards

those Asian squats are tough for non-Asians haha. Luckily I am half Chinese so I can just manage it. It amazes me how the old ladies in the rice fields or even cooking in the villages can squat like that for hours!

@barlatesbodyblitz I would be able to do it if my ankles weren't so tight. They got better since I no longer wear high heels, but not enough for me to get heels down on the ground. Same issue with side lunges.

yes, those high heels are deadly for calves and ankles!

Started my morning with this one today 😊. I woke up with a clear understanding of what sort of a workout I wanted and I love love love moments like that. I knew I wanted something dynamic but not a real cardio, I didn’t want to use any weights or other props and I wanted something challenging but without a million of reps and this one fitted perfectly ☺️. Thank you, Linda for a HUGE variety of workouts!

This work out is GREAT! I'm so happy I found this channel and series. It's definitely a no nonsense, high quality, intense workout, with room to repeat and and grow. Loved the variety of movements which are not in your typical workout videos, and the dynamic stretching which keeps you warm throughout. I feel like these series are my breakthrough in my flexibility journey! So grateful! 100/100

I swapped day 4 for 3 because I was really sore, but I don’t know why I thought this day would be “easier,” lol. This workout is 🔥 from beginning to end! Balance challenges and the body weight calisthenics moves are super challenging for me. I did have to modify some exercises, but I attempted everything and mostly succeeded with at least a few reps of the harder versions that I later modified. I used to get frustrated not being able to complete an exercise, but for some reason you make me more determined not frustrated. It must be your teaching style. Thank you! Day 3 of the advanced workout challenge completed. 💖💪🏽

These resistance stretching workouts are definitely tough in a different way. They are so good for lengthening the muscles, but still give you a great burn too. Flexibility is just another component of fitness that we all need to keep working at. Good job for hanging in there and modifying! One day you will be able to do it without modifying 😊

Hi Linda !💕Saw you uploaded a new video and got exited ! Had a quick look at it and thought it was easy so I figured to use light ankle and wrist weights ! BOY WAS I WRONG !!! 😩 I soon took off the weights and still it was so HARD ! I really liked the new moves GENIUS ! 🌸 Felt really sore afterwards and invigorated THANK YOU 🙏!💕💕💕

Fantastic! I have really enjoyed this series and I'm sad it's gone, but that's nothing new for me. I get just as excited for what comes next 😂 I actually did this before bed, and, despite the cardio, I felt really relaxed and slept great! Loved those squats 😍 All of it was perfect! I don't know which was my favorite of the four! Great work and thank you!!

Friday was supposed to be my active rest day so I combined this one with your Total 20 Body Weight and that combo definitely was active but wasn’t easy haha 😆. My poor quads were on fire 🔥 . Thanks, Linda!

This looks amazing, again! This came out just minutes after my ‘active recovery’ workout this morning... ugh! Can’t wait to do this one! EDIT: finished it today! I have to admit I found it tough after yesterday’s leg day and today’s shoulder workout! The quad stuff was intense! Forget the pigeon pose segment! 😂 I just held the stretch instead of doing the movement. Overall a great workout! Thanks Linda!! 💜
