I like how the Judge tried to get her to understand that it doesn’t matter if he sleeps with other people the same day or the same month. The risk is the same. They were in an open relationship and at the minimum, multiple partners is expected. The plaintiff settled for saying he just wasn’t honest about it… but she would not have been so hurt if she just expected it anyway. Everyone isn’t built for casual sexual relationships. Lesson Learned: It’s okay to say NO to loaning money, especially to someone you’ve known a short time. Once you’ve established a trustworthy friendship/relationship then you only give money if you have it to spare. Otherwise, you take the risk of not getting money you loaned back and that will most certainly ruin a friendship/relationship. OR, if you do decide to loan money be sure to get the payback agreement in writing. And, in the case of multiple loans, don’t loan more money before you get the previous loaned amount back. Thank goodness the text message served as a really good written loan agreement. Kudos to the defendant for at least having that important piece of evidence! Peace…

I am like that too but don't like to borrow. I have bought a house and am selling another house my brother and I own. I got just over $100 000 less for my house than the one i am buying, so need to borrow till I sell the other house. I am borrowing from my brother, I have had an open discussion with him, I have included his daughters, as I also have power of attorney for him as he is quadriplegic. So I wanted it to be all open and above board but I am still really uncomfortable. Maybe it's just my demeanor, but I have NEVER had a man ask me for money or ask me to pay half for a date. None of my boyfriends have stuck out their hand to me. Even though they know I make a good living as a nurse, not one has ever asked me for money. Not one dime. But women all around me are coming out of pocket for men. How weird. 🤔

Most people are operating with the assumption that if someone is dating other people they’re also sleeping with them so they can’t fathom the idea of being s*xually exclusive with one person while still seeing other people. There’s nothing wrong with expecting exclusivity in that way even if just casually dating because it keeps both parties safe.

She always minded him being with other women, whether it was the same day, the next day, or 10 days out, it did not matter. She wanted an exclusive relationship with him, which is exactly what she meant when she said to him that he was her air. I don't care how she tried to clean it up to the judge, but the judge didn't buy that excuse anymore than I did. She thought that if she kept putting out monies, that she would finally secure that exclusive relationship with him. I really detest people, be it man or woman, you takes advantage of a person's feeling for them just because they know they can. But I also detest people who tries to buy someones in the hope that they will be together, because whether they want to admit it to themselves or not, they know they're being used.
