Your Dad is definitely a man of wisdom. He’s definitely learned from his mistakes. Thanks for putting the time and energy into making this video.

This is so beautiful, Anne Marie. It's so lovely to hear your dad sharing advice, I remember before he said he wouldn't give any advice, but he has so much to tell. From my own experience, and watching your videos, one of the most beautiful things that comes from hard times, is witnessing people and their families work through it, together. The strength and support that is nurtured through these times, gives us wings for the next one. Seems like you have an incredibly strong supportive family, and after watching your channel since the college days, you are certainly a credit to your parents. Best wishes to you all xo

Anne Marie, I valued this a lot. I’m close to my dad, but not as close, and so to hear your dad giving advice to you, his daughter was very special. I definitely want to work on getting out of my comfort zone when necessary and I would like to be able to talk to my dad like this

I've seen your dad on the previous video and your mom. I can tell that both are good loving parents and know you'll do well, as neither will allow you to go off track whatever that direction might be. I've watched my siblings with their children, worrying about how find lives will be, worrying about them. I think if the parents did a good job, they'll be fine. So far, all of them are doing okay as working adults and a parents. For those that worry, find a good work/parental mentor to follow, as either will want the person to be/do their best and avoid the pitfalls that they took.

About picking a good life partner... If you liked how your dad raised you, treated you, cared for you, supported you, then you have your basic template right there to use as a guide for what to look for in a partner. Also your mom will have qualities that you can use as a template as well.

Definitely the ULTIMATE GOAL is to be totally financially independent. Because your parents eventually will retire as a matter of course and will not be able to continue with subsidizing your life monetarily. Every parent wants their kids to support themselves and have a stable source of income that is sufficient to provide a standard of living as good is not better than your parents have provided you. But we also want our children to be happy in their relationships and their chosen career paths.

Such a great video! I love hearing your dad speak. His thoughts are spiritual, humbling, and he is very knowledgeable. I also love watching your parents be so supportive of you. I think you’re a great content creator, and you make a variety of videos/posts/content that are original and that a lot of people can relate to. I know you’ll be wonderful at anything you decide to do! ✨🌻🌛

This is going to be good. I am actually a medical school graduate and i want to do something else. Also an unemployed millennial. Did your dad ever tell you or imply that he wanted you to be a doctor like he is?

No, I never felt like he implied I should follow his footsteps in becoming a doctor. My older brother followed the same pathway though!
