Great review and thanks ! Since I am the inventor and owner of The Golf Swing Shirt company, I appreciate your honesty and you touch on many great points. The notion of looking "silly in front of strangers" on the range is a common question and thought. The answer is simple... ego and vanity is the main ingredient for most golfers NOT making leaps and strides in game improvement. Most of the "strangers" at the range cant break 100 because they are focused on "gaming the right equipment" and looking the part of a decent golfer. That is "silly" to me especially when you may have a path to improvement. BTW.. give the Golf Swing Shirt a try on the golf course when the strangers arent around:) This is where you will see a tighter dispersion pattern and your mishits are pretty good. Overall I really like the shirt and prefer it to similar training aids like the Tour Striker Ball as I prefer the way it restricted my swing to put me in better positions to teach me better feels vs forcing me to manipulate myself (by pinching the ball for example). I hear your point about not letting ego and vanity get in the way of progress - and putting myself out here on KZbin you’d think I’d be more comfortable - but I’ll give it a try and report back! All the best with the business, it’s clearly a great product that people generally see good results with! 👍🏼

Nice work. Would like to see more of this. I have seen some golfers use the “Smart Ball” at the range. I think you found one flaw in the shirt when you tried to place the ball while wearing it.

Smart ball is fantastic you have to stick with it though and don't bin it off like most do with aids

Thanks Steve! Personally I preferred this to the Smart Ball because of the way it stopped me from creating a gap between my arms vs the ball which asked me to pinch it together which I then struggle to feel without it! But I think both are ultimately trying to achieve the same benefit right? Thanks for watching! 👍🏼

That’s my issue with the smart ball Pete. I found it hard and prefer being restricted by something rather than asked to make a different movement (the squeezing on the ball) so just bin it off too quickly! Spot on!

@@weekendtourpro that's the problem all.golfers do they expect instant miracles which ain't happening it took me a while to get smart ball going but when you do the results are fantastic it means your swing is so flawed without it and when you use it it is putting you in the right places and you will see fantastic results with a bit of patience I've had one for 4 years and always go back to it when I feel disconnected IT WORKS keep at it people

Very similar to a go-to drill I use from time to time - trying to swing with a towel under my arms. Forces me to rotate my hips, and not to use only my arms.

Love this Torbjørn! I’ve tried the towel drill and also the headcover under my armpit. Personally I prefer the feels of this shirt over them but I think it’s personal preference about which one helps you and I know the towel is trusted by so many good players! 👍🏼
