I like the quad, and I think fly well. I have a toothpick with 1104 4300kv motors and emax avan mini 3 inch props and can fly on 1s ( cruising) and 2s acro.

The sound of silence indeed! That is insane... the efficiency looks pretty good as well but maybe not quite the performance. This could still be an awesome quad for some pilots 👍

Wow, that is insanely quiet! Neat!

That is seriously awesome.

You ever get down with the NewBeeDrone SavageBee? Very similar in class, but with 1202 11420KV (1s version). Also super quiet and a blast to fly. I'm curious how they compare!

Thanks for the question! I haven’t tried that quad but it does look like a nice setup. Might have a little bit stronger of a frame than the Feather.

Can do a tutorial how to install a ELRS receiver on the esc?

Thanks maybe next time! Gal Kremer has a little more detail in his video… kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2XMl2ZplpiGbrs

First time I see such props motor a d kv combo. Very cool!!

Yup! It’s the low kV and higher-pitch tri-blades that make this quiet while still performant.

Hello! I've just got mine too. Loaded to BF to save the default cli dump for safekeeping but found out there's no vtx table. I also don't know where the vtx uart is, is it a SmartAudio? Tramp? Thanks!
@MiniMicroFPV2 жыл бұрын
I probably should have included this in the video since the setup on this quad out of the box isn’t really done. The VTX should be UART1 and TBS Smart Audio is what seems to be working on mine. I hope that helps!

@@MiniMicroFPV Done a maiden flight already, thanks for the help. Hard to cram even the TBS Nano RX in that canopy, hopefully someone are able to design a different and a bit spacious canopy. The crammed insides tends to tilt the camera into a side so the POV isn't quite centered..

@@grehahn_fpv Yeah it’s a pretty tight fit under there!

do u have FC schematic, little confused where install receiver
@MiniMicroFPV2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Unfortunately I was not able to find a schematic for this board. However the receiver pads are located at the top or front of the board next to where the VTX is soldered. At about the :26s mark in the video one can briefly see these pads where I’ve attached the ELRS receiver. Hopefully this helps!

does anyone know what went into making the props so silent?
@MiniMicroFPV2 жыл бұрын
I don't have any real expertise but I think it's their relative thinness towards the tips. Also in this application they are spinning at a relatively low RPM which makes them almost silent. However I've also used these props in more powerful applications and they're fairly quiet there as well. It must be the shape.

@@MiniMicroFPV They remind me a lot of the old Racekraft 5051's but they were loud props. I'm thinking the little winglet at the tips must help combined with the aggressive tapering as you said. I was under the impression that a high pitch prop would make a lot of noise. interesting stuff. know anywhere i can buy just the props?

never mind, just found out they are the AVAN mini 3024. cheers.

can you install a hdzero whoop vtx?
@MiniMicroFPV2 жыл бұрын
Hello. Hmm. I’m not sure about that. I think it would make it too heavy for the frame and motors and also the camera wouldn’t fit in this canopy. It might be better to build something for HDZero or maybe look at a Crux 3 which I think has HDZero already installed. Edit: The HDZero whoop board and camera are a little lighter than I was initially thinking but I still think the camera may need a different canopy. Maybe installing HDZero would take the weight of this up to 38~40g. It might work, though the extra weight would probably benefit from a slightly higher kV motor. It’s tricky finding the delta sometimes so I usually leave it to the manufacturer.
