At work we had a older man as the short order grill person. He used to use those egg beaters, or egg whites for omelettes. He used to ladle them on the grill, fill the middle with what ever, fold 1/3 from the left side over towards the middle, 1/3rd from the right over that, fold the short end on the top and bottom towards the center - about 2 inches, then flip the whole thing over upside down. It was very quick, as he had a lot of people in the building to cook for.

Hi Mel, I made the queso chicken tacos tonight featured in this video. Of course I went to makin it and then realized I didn't have rotel or green chilies on hand. I improvised as you encourage us to do using what I had on hand which was a jar of salsa and it worked just fine. I had a chopped up rotisserie chicken handy so instead of using the crock pot, I just made it a skillet meal. Talk about an easy and yummy dinner. Thanks for always inspiring me with your videos!

I like to stock up on cans of Rotel or those nice little cans of spicy green Chillies. You can always freeze what is left over from your cans, into an ice cube tray for next time. Just don't forget to label them in a baggie, once they have frozen. I've also seen people freeze in their ice cube trays, oilve oil with herbs. When you want nice fresh herbs just drom in a frozen ice cube block of oil and herbs,, heat it up and you are good to go.

i read somewhere that you aren't supposed to cook frozen chicken in the crockpot. something to do with it doesn't cook fast enough to get rid of bacteria. also w/ coleslaw, i always mix up my dressing in a separate bowl then pour over. I have to try that ravioli. YUM!

I heard sumthin similar bt it was that "if u cook frozen chicken in crockpot u should cook it on high" bc of tht. Honestly I've NVR cooked anything frozen in mine only bc I'm so use to thawing sumthin out the nite bfor Im old school & its a habit I always forget tht I can cook frozen meat in my crockpot & instant pot. If momma Mel did it then I would for sure trust to do it! 😊

Everything looks so good! Have you ever used poppy seed dressing mixed with a little mayoto make your coleslaw instead of the normal mayo mixture? I do it both ways but the poppy seed is next level!
