Incredible playing and a thoughtful, in-depth review, as always

The Expression system sounds better in this review than it usually does. Maybe the shorter scale length helps reduce the piezo quackiness. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about the sound of was the single note lead work up the neck. Sounded like it fretted out a bit; action probably a touch too low.

How he described how it sounded, was just spot on. He need to be a good taster professional too

Would have liked to hear the pure sound without the xxl reverb you out on.

Great playing, nice guitar I've just bought one, and as a very mediocre beginner, the ease at which this guitar plays is fabulous. Even I sound semi listenable

Wow! This thing sounded great. You had me at first strum. Really wish I have the money to get one.

The problem for me, with this scale, is playing it too much would make my 25.5” guitars a hassle.

Thanks! But not so much reverb on the recording next time, please. Rather hear the guitar, ya know?

could i get advice should i just buy GS MINI rosewood or wait for this GT series?

Depends on how you want to use the guitar. I’m guessing there’s a big price difference too?

Soon as you went to the guitar's pick-up, immediately I was glancing over at my speakers like something was wrong... I think Taylor needs to pick up their pick-up game. I remember first listening to my Taylor 517 Builder's, and its sound was impeccable, but turning on the pick-up immediately made it sound like a 200 dollar guitar. This lead me to buy it without their electronics. I'll probably install an LR Bags or Fishman later, but for now, I enjoy using microphones.

I don’t have a pick up in my 517 but you’re not inspiring me to go ES.. 517 Is by far the best rig I’ve ever had.. have gone through a lot of wood

@@Bossanovawitcha Yeah I love the sound - and I bought it without the pickup. It was the only way to get one, because they were all sold out here...

Why dont you just used the electronic system, why do you still need that condenser mich in front of the guitar?..... is the eletronic not good enough, if not then just plugg in... remove that mic
@rrrromzutube3 жыл бұрын
Simple, not everyone will buy this guitar plugged in all the time? Would like to hear its natural resonance.

What’s happened to Taylor guitars , it sounds tinny to me. I had 2 Taylors a GA from 1999, still got it beautiful guitar & a 322. Bought a Faith for gigging, half the price, what a beauty, sold the 322 & haven’t played a modern Taylor that comes anywhere near the Faith. I think Taylor should go back to what they were famous for: well made quality guitars & stop messing around with these different designs.
