It’s not unusual at all, because a lot of parents and a lot of people in general presume that by the time they are going to be deceased, and have any beneficiaries to their estate that their spouse would be deceased as well, so they leave things to their child or children their estate that their spouse would be deceased as well, so they leave things to their child or children. After all if your beneficiary is dead and you don’t have a contingent it’s still has to go through probate. My kids are the beneficiary on our life. Insurance policy is not my husband he has enough money and vice versa and our children are minors, so if God forbid something happens to one of us before they reach legal age one of us is still going to be the custodian of that money until the children, reach legal age. There’s a lot of different reasons why that might be the case but there’s really nothing unusual about it. I can tell you that from having seen a lot of insurance policies in my day and a husband who is an attorney.

she had been through a lot of loss, and never really got the support she needed to process all she had been through. attachment trauma can lead to unhealthily close bonding...which can explain how any feeling of perceived abandonment by these friends brought back all her worst fears & insecurities. paired with poor impulse control as shown by her struggle with addictions and possible other factors, she acted on her emotional response. it dosent justify what they did. it's truly tragic. i think mike's metaphor of a cornered rescue dog going for the throat is quite apt.

And similar to her story-shortly after starting at a new high school (from being sent to live closer to where all of my surgeries had to be done), one of the extremely popular, beautiful girls, with a heart of gold just randomly started hunting me down at lunch(I was in a wheelchair, so I wasn’t very hard to find😆), she befriended me, socially protected me and took me under her wing. We’re closing in on our 40’s and are still extremely close friends to this day...and I can’t even begin to imagine ever hurting her!! There’s literally nothing she could do to me, that could EVER make me consider, let alone *DO* something as evil as what Christine did to her “friends”!! That can’t be blamed on drugs, that can’t be blamed on traumatic childhoods, that can’t be blamed on “emotional issues,” or “teen angst” and it can’t even be blamed on having a controlling/abusive partner... The scene with the father is heartbreaking. The police officer yelling at him was just uncalled for. I’m glad he took him to the side when he started crying but to face someone who knows their daughter is dead with the threat of jail is just wrong.

It seemed harsh, yes, but sometimes you have to be harsh to get through to people. I imagine once the father looked back on it he 100% understood why the officer was that way. One mistake in a crime scene can screw the entire thing up and they did what they had to to ensure it didn't get screwed up. It just unfortunately goes that way sometimes.

I remember this case from the Snapped episode. One bit I remember from that show is that Christine how disgusting the motel room was and how she was faking her withdrawals from heroin. When a cop was in the room, she was shaking, crying and puking. When she was alone (on camera), she was just fine. A truly manipulative lying lunatic. Oh, and you can write her in prison! She’s on a pen pal prison site looking for love!
@s0lastsummer7 Жыл бұрын
Wait, what? I mean they were both DEEP addicts which was obvious looking at that disgusting room.... only people in active addiction can live in those conditions without really seeing how bad it is, and I don't believe one of them could stay clean while the other used to that extent, so how could she NOT be in withdrawal? 😳 I'm not arguing with you, I believe you saw what you saw, but I'm very confused by that! It's pretty impossible to truly fake H withdrawal, the pupils of your eyes are the size of dinner plates, you're visibly sweating bullets (and smell like it too), you are covered in goosebumps from head to toe, your eyes water, your nose runs like crazy, you are writhing uncontrollably because it feels like you're coming out of your own skin, eeeeeeverything hurts like hell, I could go on and on! Did ALL of these things really just.... stop? Or was she just playing it up more while they were in the room? I wonder if it was just easier for her to dissociate a little while she was alone so she didn't feel it as much? I'm just so confused by this now 🤔
@therealprophet7823 Жыл бұрын
They had to transport her to the ER because She was on her period and bleeding everywhere and passing out from her withdrawals. she recieved methadone at the hospital then brought her back for questioning...she wasn't faking, doctors made statements in court that within a few months her body would shut down from the amount of drugs she was consiming.
