Here is the recent PC that I featured in the Giveaway of Ages (link here - • The GIVEAWAY of AGES -... - Though how does it perform? With the recent Open Beta of Blizzard's Overwatch being playable on the weekend I took it upon myself to build a PC that would feature the best of Used and New parts to make not only one PC that would perform simply AMAZING, but also look pretty damn slick too. Ebay. Radeon HD 7970 auctions are usually around the $150 range, occasionally some show up much lower. You can also find auctions for the Radeon R9 280x (basically, just a rebranded 7970) for about the same price range, so there's a few options. I recently picked up a Radeon HD 7950 there for $105 and it's running Overwatch at 1440p on Epic settings with an average of 50 FPS.

@2:30 Never use your bare finger to spread thermal paste. You really don't need to spread it at all but if you do don't use your bare finger. Now you just introduced any debris or dirt or oil on your hands into the paste.

TheBlazingGamer Thermal paste fills the tiny gaps between the CPU and the heatsink to maximize the thermal transfer, thus keeping the CPU cooler than without it. You should ALWAYS use thermal paste. You only need a little bit but you don't want to have too little. Watch some videos that'll show you about how much is needed.

However I was about to get the 2670, at the last minute I decided to go with the 4 core e5-1620 for its higher single core speeds. I just finally managed to get an x79 board on ebay, everything works sooo great. Then I became even more pleased with my purchase when I realized the multipliers are completely unlocked. This PC is great, I put all the components into a DIYPC D480 (closest design to the Kurosuke case) and it gets an average of 90 FPS on Battlefield 4, try this out guys, it's totally worth it!
