I’m an athlete, and foam rolling was not an option for recovery or warming up, we do massages and stretching instead. I bought a roller just a few weeks ago and did the routine myself, massive help btw. I’m way more agile, less unnecessary injuries due to lack of stretch in some areas, just overall better. Thanks for the introduction to foam rolling!

Thanx for the intro on using the roller, I work in the medical field and the dangers of using a foam roller on the lower back or lumbar is too risky....so i wouldn't suggest to do that anymore...but thanx for the foam roller quick guide bro, its helps my tight muscles 😊😊

@Rickiizthe14 жыл бұрын
Well when you use the foam roller it's OK to use it on your back where you have more thoracic support meaning your chest, but as you move lower past the rib cage, there is no support for your spine in the lower lumbar region. Our spines already contort in the S shape curve so you are pushing in the same direction but added more pressure on your organs....plus if the person is dealing with a pinch nerve or sciatica you could be making the problems worse.... Some people who have back issues don't require tightening or elongating of the spine.
