The actual exercises are key here. You don’t have to follow her exact count/reps. Always do at your own pace and focus on the burn in your own body. “Slow and controlled” as Krissy herself would say. 😊❤

Good mornings are like upright rows. Some still do them but the risk- benefit ratio is high compared to other exercises for the same body parts

@@carolo6098 Spinal injury especially at the neck level. It works the posterior chain so exercises like back extensions, reverse hyper extensions and hip thrusts are some options

Aye man kid at my gym is built like an NFL linebacker and his leg day he goes 6-8 sets at leg press. Basically whatever your comfortable handling without injuring yourself fuck it why not.

You can do really high reps but you need to go down in intensity either by lowering the weight or time under tension (like the Tasha person above said) if you want muscle growth, unless.your goal is also endurance. So for a sport it could make sense. But if you're just trying to get a bigger butt it's not necessary.

Can you please do a video of what each glute workout targets specifically? Also with hip thrusts on heavier weights, even with good form, is it possible to not feel the burn in the butt?

ima answer the second question- maybe, when you’re hip thrusting, you’re thinking about pushing your back up and not about pushing your GLUTES up. think about it and let me know :)

It’s not all about the burn! Burn only means you body can’t supply the target muscle with enough oxygen … so the burn is not a sign of an effective workout. You can have a great workout without the burn too. Basically the weakest muscles will be the first you will feel a burning sensation in.

Do glute activation and lighter weights to learn how to feel it more. Try doing a weight that allows 15-20 reps to get a better feel for the exercise then increase weight.

Krissy girl, you’re amazing for promoting moving, and you really always got your form right and everything, but the actual workouts are really just not good. RDL and Goodmornings in 1 workout is really redundant. Also 8 sets of hip thrusts is too much if your intensity is high enough and I don’t see why you would lower the intensity so you can do 8 sets.

I said the same thing, too much volume is proven to have negative effects on muscle growth. Maybe she includes warm up sets in her totals? That’s the only thing I can think of. But I do feel the science in lacking in some of the routines she does….I’d rather up the weight to insane levels and hit out 3 sets of 6-8 reps on the heaviest weight I can do.. that would be more significant. If your doing 8 sets the weight isn’t heavy enough basically

Thought the same thing... I love her but I was super confused about her ultimate leg workout as well. It's literally squats, hip thrusts, rdls, split squats, lunges and isolated work. No one needs thaat much. Muscles can't grow under too much stress.

The thing for me sometimes when i work out i feel like im gonna pass out. Maybe my breathing isn’t the best or im just inconsistent but i think thats my hump with actually sticking to a workout. I hate feeling like im gonna be sick

Are you doing excess amounts of cardio? Are you in the gym for longer than 45 minutes and up to over an hour? Are you exercising (especially cardio) right after consuming lots of water or food? Or are you just overall training too hard? Are you lifting too heavy for where you currently are in your journey? These are just some things that could provide you a reason.

Its called progressive overload...it is not to much, because she did less exercises with more sets and loads of weight. To each their own.

Is this a complete leg day? Because it’s literally the 1st leg workout I’ve found that doesn’t need me to go to the gym + not many exercises hence time saving. And is it a 1 or 2 times per week?

yes this is a complete workout. Its recommended you train legs 2-3 times a week depending on how quickly you recovery and the intensity of your training

Not really time saving! There is a lot of sets of heavy lifting so you will need a lot of recovery between sets

Hey I need help with lower body exercises. Almost every lower body exercise I try to do, I always just feel it in my lower back and not in my glutes etc. I’m not flexible so my back isn’t straight when I bend even a little bit. What should I do ? I’ve been stretching for months and nothing improved
