Great video! I prefer zooms as I like to be like a ninja -I’ve quickly and not worry about changing lenses to have different focal lengths. And with the A7SIII low light and f/2.8 doesn’t bother me at all

Solid content as always. 👏🏻. We have a similar selection. I rock the Sigma 28-70 most of the day and I put my second on the Tamron 17-70 (APSC for the A7IV 4k 60 crop). I have a 50 I’ll swap in and out and I’ll have my second swap to my 135mm Samyang or 70-180 Tamron for couple shots or cocktail hour. I also have a Loawa 9m but never bring that 😂

Very well explained. What do you think for RF28-70 F2.0, with R6mkII. I know it’s heavy but it’s not a big deal for me. Preparing to filming weddings with this lens, and I have RF15-35 2.8 and RF 70-200 2.8, but 15-35 and 70-200 maybe will be used from my wife for photography not for filming. I think to film with 28-70 2.0 with stabilizer DJI ronin rs 3 pro.

What do you think about a 35mm - 85mm combination? I have a 35mm on a gimbal or handheld as my A-cam which I use for filming the scene, b-roll, the couple, groups..., and an 85 mm (50 mm X crop) as a B-cam for my 2nd shooter on a monopod or handheld, for portraits, 2nd angles... I am always looking for tighter shots, and I think these lenses will force me and my 2nd to do so.

I think this is more about the look you want, yes you can zoom, which is a advantage, but in general I don't like zooms. I also believe zooms throttles creativity.

When using a 135mm lens during a wedding how do you stabilize the camera? Do you use a tripod?

Yeah a monopod works great with the 135 but sometimes I’m able to go handheld for a quick 8-10 second shot if I need to grab and go. As long as your camera has IBIS

Do you smooth video autofocus with the 50mm and 24mm sigma art? On our R3 - we cant change the speed of the autofocus in video mode..?

I don’t use AF with these lenses of mine since they are still canon EF adapted to Sony. I just manual focus with these lenses.

The Tamron 35-150 really is a great lens but the weight is a real concern. I bought it about over a month ago, and after doing a few events, I have to sell it for primes because my shoulder hurts too much afterward. However, I am on the smaller size, so take this with a grain of salt.
