Evertime I watch a video of Mike O'Hearn, you learn something new with respect training. What a student of the game. He's constantly accumulating and sharing knowledge. Just like Bruce Lee during his short yet impactful life. Where do they sell an atlas bar like this? It would appear to me that the movable grips are built into the bar itself, and cannot be added to any atlas bar?

@@vinny6_9 I don’t know how “natural” Mike is, but if I were to guess I’d say I’m more “natural” than him. That’s basically based upon the weights he lifts versus myself. Again, this is my guess. I don’t know for sure. I do know I’d never touch tren or anything like that. Plus, I’d injure myself trying to lift like him lol. Im more mind muscle focused and err toward slightly higher reps with longer time in the eccentric phase. Amount of weight is a secondary issue to me. I see many people in the gym that lift a lot of weight and look like shit (not mike of course).

It’s a beautiful explanation about actually connected with the exercise. It’s how I got linked up with my trainer. Doug Wentz came over to me and I was benching 405. He goes I’ve seen you coming here(golds Islip Ny) for about a year and you’re pretty strong…..now I want you to drop it to 225 and I wanna show you something. Could barely get to ten, but I’ve never felt so much blood in my chest before, plus I didn’t experience any shoulder fatigue/strain. Great information guys amazing

Did this yesterday. I placed two spacers inside to prevent from over extending when the grips slide. It also kept the workload on my chest and not my shoulders.
