I'm sure that everyone here knows the story of how the Coens made Sam do this scene over and over simply because they loved Sam's monologue and just wanted to hear it again and again. The blessing of a weird old cowboy to the laziest man alive. A weird blessing that I received. A millennial slacker who impressed a Montana rancher by getting $300 from poker. The rancher was pissed, but he did envy my lazy lifestyle and good luck at the cards. I hope he found his retirement. And I hope to play another round of dealer's choice with him in the hereafter.
