When Tatum said he plays for the fans, he was proving he was a Kobe disciple. And THIS is why Lebron hates this guy. He doesn't want any reminders of past eras or players who were better than him. It's disgusting...and his fans are the same. No regard for the players who paved the way for today's game/players.

There's 3936 total minutes in an 82 game season. Players should have a minimum 3000 minutes played to qualify for individual achievements. That's a almost 12 minute rest time each game. the fact that Lebron demanding his god awful son get drafted had disqualified him from being "the GOAT". Sorry, hes not. Some of that GOAT status you can't measure in playing for 150 years in the league just to get some career "longetivy" stats and records. Here's why Jordan is still the goat and built different from Lebron. Imagine his son(s) who actually played college ball. Imagine if the Bulls front office had said "MJ! how cool would it be to have your son get drafted by us to play with you before you retire???"... MJ would be the first to tell the front office "HELL NO! He aint good enough to play with me, on this team, or in the NBA. I'm trying to fucking win here folks.". And this is why Jordan was "the man" amongst "men" in his era and lebron is a boy. Physically he's a man, but that dude and MJ aint even in the same coversation of toughnes, competitive focus and the list goes on.

For all you Lebron decision people: so Lebron was supposed face the Big 3 Boston Celtics (PP, KG, Ray Allen & Rondo) with his 2nd best player being among Mo Williams/Larry Hughes/or 32 year old Antawn Jamison for years on end? So LBJ was to be perennially condemned to being outmatched by other rosters in the East because CLE front office at the time was entirely inept? Unique footwork, losing defenders with minimal dribbling crossovers, deadily ankle breaker, with fastest shot release, who jumped higher, dunked and was unguardable. This will blow your mind. New gens DON'T KNOW... Truth is if lanes were clogged with defenders in the key, and players could HAND CHECK, as they did in 80s-2002, then Steph Curry would get SHUT DOWN in a major degree. Many of today's all-stars would struggle to score, and their stats would be much lower. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIateqiemsyElZY

We live in a time where we use instant replay, everything is recorded and posted, and we have cameras that can zoom in on the nose hairs from 100 yard away. Politics are inherently involved in any sport like this when you have public funding of stadiums and growth into international market. The idea that LeBron James brought politics into the NBA is silly. There are plenty of valid criticisms of him but sports have always been political. Everything is political to some extent. Yeah the 2000s decade had the last vestiges of peak NBA. I agree. look at Duncan's spurs in the 00s, then the Shaq/Kobe Lakers and then Kobe/Gasol. Look at the Mavericks mid-late 2000s (1-1 in finals but gave every team grief. eg 2011 finals win over D Wade's Heat) Then there's late 2000s Boston. A real problem. There were so many solid teams that, on any given night, any one of them could beat your favorite franchise. And I the 00's, even second tier teams were no joke: they posed real threats to the odds on favorites: case in point, mid2000s Pistons: their 2005 team upset the Lakers (and Vegas) through throwback hard nose team defense. *We don't have that today.* Anyway... today's NBA is a parody of its former self. The hardwood and basketballs and hoop look the same, and the referees don the same uniforms, but the game itself is a different sport going by the same name "NBA"

Proper recovery time for minor injuries is how you prevent major injuries. Players like Kawhi and Ben Simmons probably need to understand that they'll never be 100% again and suck it up, but the flip side of that is how GSW handled Durant in 2019, or Joel Embiid returning from knee surgery last year when he clearly wasn't ready (and may very well have contributed to his current stance regarding B2Bs). Having torn my own Achilles, I'd be willing to bet that Kobe's leg had been giving him the warning signs for weeks/months prior to the injury that effectively ended his career.

What you expect from a guy who gave himself the nickname king, no one cqlled him that, he called himself it and everybody else just let it stick, the guy has an ego and yet crys like a child when he doesnt get it his own way, he will never be in my top 5 no matter how many points he scores.

what irks me most is just the constant disrespect to the fans that these guys have. you play A SPORT for a living. id be over the moon if all i had to do was jog some laps, practice shots, and play basketball everyday to make tens of millions of dollars a year. without us, they’d be working at mcdonald’s or burger king making 10 bucks an hour. i don’t think hardly any of the nba superstars realize and think about how lucky they really are

Nor how expensive it is to take your family to games. And there are little free sports these days. I can not watch Sunday Football for free via Fox, CBS, or NBC. I am expected to pay for some some streaming service to watch free games being televised?

One of my earliest memories was flying out to Phoenix, AZ with my grandmother. The whole Phoenix Suns team was on our flight.I was young & not really into basketball at that time, but I recognized Kevin Johnson & Dan Majerle. This was maybe a year before the Suns traded for Charles Barkley.
