Finally a non Ni dom who understand it. You understand why we are constantly tired, our mind never stop, constantly update, find the pattern/concept in common to connect/understand/retain the informations, to function. It's right we need a dark room, almost sensory deprivation to function at our best. Meditation is almost primordial for us for our nervous system. To all : please watch the video of INTJ & INFJ creators we explain what really is in depth, we are the ones who explain it the best. (A lot of INTJ INFJ channels)

I am an INFJ & I can tell you that the introvert feeling burns me out I'm so exhausted to be around people, for the most part because I "FEEL" like I'm the only adult in the room. What I mean by that is, yes ... I see motivation of people, intentions... but I categorize many hurtful behaviors as "limitations" .. They don't understand how what they said or did, is causing the negative response... and so the whole experience is negative all because of some limitations by one involved in the interaction to just let it go ... Not to make mountains out of molehills ... I've tried explaining to some, if you would simply convey your thoughts using different words or with a different tone ... I believe you'd get a better result ... blaa blaa blaa And basically, as I've gotten older ... I've come to the conclusion that in most cases it really is a waste of time, constructive criticism ... Either they don't understand what difference it makes or they don't feel they should have to. So what ends up happening is, I just shut up, accept they are who they're choosing to be & walk away .. I don't like the way they act. I don't want to waste my time explaining why. I simply would rather be alone

Introverted intuition is my favourite cognitive function! At times the patterns, connections, and insights hit you like a ton of bricks. You are so right though! Nothing feels as good as the knowledge/wisdom one gets from introverted intuition. It is SUCH a fulfilling experience. It's like solving a mystery or finishing a very difficult puzzle. I can literally be reading a book and get ten insights on five different people. Like that one reference in a novel was the last puzzle piece needed to crack the code/solve the mystery. As an INFJ, I can't imagine my internal world being as fulfilling as it is without introverted intuition being my dominant function. When I pair it with introverted thinking it's an unstoppable force!

Thanks for sharing! It's a fascinating function and I'm happy that you appreciate your type. So many people fight it, but there's so much to offer after accepting and leveraging your type.

@@GeekPsychology Your videos are always so informative. I always look forward to them! Figuring out my type was a game changer for me! From a young age I would fascinate people with my ability to just know things. I always knew I was highly intuitive but it was always very difficult articulating such an abstract cognitive function. I finally feel like I've found my tribe! Thank you for positively contributing to the INFJ community. Being a rare type means that not a lot of people think like us or can relate. It's always nice to feel understood! Keep on keeping on!

Having this "telepathic psychic" vision as an INFJ can be exhausting at times. Reading others emotions can drain you, but many INFJ only want to enrich and offer guidance with these powers. We are good listeners they say.

i believe it. wanting to enrich but also being drained must be difficult.

Never heard of INFJ's or INFT's before, interesting topic! This must be why I get so frustrated with people when they are so focused on simple/single things while I'm yelling from a mountaintop the connections and where this is leading and most people just stare at me, like I'm talking crazy....it's so evident, how can people not see all the variables and direction of actions and not see the outcome of X, poor saps. I think this is the quantum side of our brain, resonating or picking up frequencies of the event(s) and at some level "see the future" by extrapolating all the variables and envisioning the outcome!

@@Reasonablewater27 Ex : INFP & INTP are good at Ni. See the video of Love who about the 6th function, hidden talent. We are good at our function 1 2 5 6. Don't ignore the unconscious/shadow side. Even if our default/natural mode are functions 1 & 2, we develop all the others functions all our life, in order to be improved/mature/individuated/healthy.

I've seen it said that dominant introverted intuitives simulate realistic scenarios, using their 5 senses, as if they were experiencing them in reality? That is true? And does this also help develop introverted intuition?

The rumor that Ni is guided by sensory "data points" seems to be persistent, probably because it's easy to understand (and sell).
