Mitochondria don't convert glucose. Glycolysis happens in cytoplasm Mitochondria converts the product of glycolysis which is 3PGA
@itsROMPERS...8 ай бұрын
@@harshiverse9582 I'm not a biologist, but cytoplasm is actually is gooey substance that is the basic medium that things inside cells float in. So whatever happens in a cell happens in cytoplasm, because that's what in cells. I looked up 3 PGA and got the Calvin cycle, which is part of photosynthesis. From Wikipedia, "Mitochondria have a double membrane structure and use aerobic respiration to generate adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is used throughout the cell as a source of chemical energy."

A ketogenic diet (high fat, moderate protein, very low carbs) will improve the function of your mitochondria. In this scenario, your body is in a state of ketosis, where your mitochondria largely burn ketones instead of glucose, providing more energy for the cells. A ketogenic diet also is a great way to control blood glucose (blood sugar). The mitochondria also have many other vital functions in addition to being the powerhouse of the cell. A ketogenic diet enables the mitochondria to perform many of their functions better than on the standard American diet.

@ems16778 ай бұрын
You have to take your last meal 2 to 3 hours before bed, if you take it within those 2 hours before bed or just before going to bed, you won't have enough time to digest that meal before going to sleep . Therefore, while you're at sleep your body will be digesting that food instead of properly focusing on your sleep . Considering the fact that digestion is a process that require a lot of energy, you will feel fatigue and be tire once you wake up. So if you relate to this I highly recommend you to take your last meal 2 to 3 hours before going to sleep, and don't forget no caffeine after 2 pm plus no screen time 1 hour before bed
