I remember this like it was yesterday ...it was like a blow to the gut....I'm a massive Pantera fan ..I've been lucky enough to see the original line up live 4 times here in the uk they were the most amazing concerts I've ever been to ...I've seen many diffrent bands over the years but it was different with Pantera ..it was like a feeling of mass unity ....Dime is sorley missed

Misinformation. Pantera was never affiliated with Damage Plan.
@basedbine9187Ай бұрын
dimebag and vinnie WERE pantera they definitely were affiliated even if it wasnt officially said

@basedbine9187 Yes, the Abbott Brothers were Pantera, but Damageplan was a totally separate project; Damageplan had nothing to do with Pantera, and vice versa; one had nothing to do with the other. They didn't share lineups, they didn't share songs, and they didn't share performances. Damageplan was formed because Phill was screwing the brothers around, with doing his other projects (Down, Superjoint Ritual), and Rex was with him. The brothers brought nothing from Pantera to Damageplan, just themselves, they left Pantera behind.
