If a military post can't keep the walkers away then that's a sign that you need to leave asap. It's a non-winnable battle. Why fight for a country that probably caused the virus to begin with and why continue to fight for them when there's no government left to pay and protect anyone? Military rules don't apply to this apocalyptic world.

Hello you two! The reason Michonne carries the walkers, they repell her scent and keep her hidden when there are groups of walkers! Walkers don't attack other walkers so it's like she hides within their scent and they don't know she's there! Very smart move!

With the Governor, he is almost like Rick in that he is protecting his community. He mostly deals with anyone he sees as a threat by taking them out before they can find his community. But managing to keep Merle under his wing shows how strong his authority is.

Seeing Woodbury is so strange now. They filmed all of it in the town of Senoia Georgia. The actual town where they film most of the walking dead. I went there to Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero’s restaurant and bought a lot of memorabilia from it. A nice town, just hard to think of them executing people in it lol

Woodbury is the main street in Senoia, Ga. I went a year ago and walked the streets and went on a tour. There's an official Walking Dead museum and I had my picture taken in front of the actual doors in the pilot that said don't open dead inside. Also had my picture taken in front of the aquarium with Walker heads.

If the Governor brought the men in, they would see their Lieutenant as their commanding officer. It would create a different power/authority structure, and The Governor let that into Woodbury, he doesn't that enough of his supporters would stay loyal vs. how many would follow the Lieutenant's lead if they came into conflict.

My favorite character is Michonne. Ya'll asked about what weapon we would choose in season 1...I would choose a katana like Michonne without a doubt. Have to practice of course...but you don't have to reload and you can have a little distance between you and those nasty walkers. just gotta keep it sharpened.

If you’re still confused why Michonne Brings the walkers around it’s the same principle as smearing the blood on your clothes, the smell of the dead makes the person nearby basically invisible to the walkers so they will walk right past the living

Well well well. Just look at all our new characters to play with! I've always felt it would have been better if the Gov.'s true personality was drawn out longer for the viewer. But it is what it is. He's one dangerous man. Charismatic and ruthless. A VERY dangerous duo. I'm just glad Merle is back. He just seems to steal ever scene he's in. Major props to the actor Michael Rooker. This episode is a well-crafted exposition dump. Also it got Andrea up to speed about the human race. Always a bonus when Andrea learns something. I'd also ape the vast majority of the comments in wishing your mom a speedy recovery, Steve. Real life always takes precedence over any YT show. So no need to apologize. Question for you two: Why is Michonne so adamant to leave Woodbury, while Andrea is looking for every reason to stick around? Michonne has history on the outside, but very different to Andrea's history. Do you think the Governer feels Andrea is worth more because he knows more about her history with the Atlanta group, according to Merle? Or do you think a certain wedge is being placed between Andrea and Michonne on purpose? Like maybe Michonne isn't a team player, but Andrea might be, and they can all sense that?

In fear the walking dead, the spin off show, the military quarantined certain areas and were in some cases ordered to kill citizens, similar to the Atlanta bombings, this might be a reason the governor and his men find the military untrustworthy and would rather take resources than take in. Hi Steve and Lacy, I hope your moms doing okay Steve. I wanted to let you know that Woodbury is an actual town in Georgia. It's actually Senoia, where they film most of TWD. I took the thousand mile trip there in November and took TWD tour. It's a great place to go when you're a big fan like me. I wouldn't recommend it until you're caught up, as there are spoilers. Also, Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero own a restaurant there. I had dinner there, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great.
