I loved how you kept coming back to the idea of not having to do or achieve anything. It made me quite emotional, to be honest. So often I find myself trying hard to do well at meditation, which is kind of self-sabotaging! Thank you so much, I feel much more relaxed 🧡

Oh I'm so glad that came through. Yes, nothing to do, nothing to achieve, just let the words wash over you and the relaxation will happen all by itself 👍

I have similar issues with CFS/ME and this is the first guided meditation that I could actually follow without tensing up! I love the zero effort required so that I can actually let go of my tension and RELAX. Thank you. Your voice is so calming I didn't feel distracted as I sometimes do either some of the guided meditations I've participated in so I actually relaxed and lasted through the whole 15 minutes 😊❤🙏

Wow, this is helpfull! I am dealing with long covid for 4 years now. Have to go to bed at 20.30 because it takes a few hours to calm down and be able to restore a bit energy during the night. Yesterday, I listened to your voice in bed, just before sleeping. And this morning I saw on my garmin body balance monitor that I gained energy directly from that point! The first 2 hours I gained allready more energy then normally in the whole night! Wow, this is interesting, I will try to listen more times a day to see what happenes. Hopefully I will also start feeling better when my energy level will get higher 😊 thank you very much for making this video ❤ I will keep you informed whether it also helpes making progress on the longer term for me, thank you

@@thebuteykomethod Great! Looking forward to it! You have a really hypnotic voice and pattern when you are so calm, relaxed guiding - I think your relaxation and vibe is coming over through the ether 🙂 I used the two longer session here now for a least a week and I can say that it has a profound impact on my nervous system calming down! I suffer from complex trauma, and have tried a lot, but for now, only some of Thich Nhat Hanh meditation and now yours is really bring me down! (without any medication) - I find it also interesting that my system somehow reacts on the guiding (just with breathing it does not have the same effect) - as I said, I think you have a real gift there and this might help a lot of people!

Hi Neil. Love your stuff and your soothing voice. I have a suggestion on the Guided Relaxation Meditation for Long COVID (etc). I personally found it a bit jarring or perhaps limiting is a better word) that each phrase included “beginning to” (body part “beginning to” soften and relax). I know that it takes time to relax, but would have preferred sort of a continuum…..the words “softening and relaxing” (e.g. your hands and legs are softening and relaxing). To me, that would capture the spirit of your soothing guidance….that as the session progresses, things *are* softening and relaxing, rather than always just “beginning” to. I hope that makes sense and sounds as constructive and supportive as I intend for it to be, cuz you’re truly one of my absolute go-to people (perhaps the best I’ve actually heard) for soothing breathwork with or without music, along with with lovely scripts and imagery. I use 1 or 2 of your clips daily as I journey with long COVID and POTS.

Hi @RobinS124, thank you so much for the feedback. I'll try that on a future recording - it's interesting how the languaging can make such a difference. Also It's really heartening to hear that my content is helping someone so thank you so much for your kind words ❤️🤗🙏

Thanks so much for your kind response Neil! I appreciate it. I’m sure your content is helping many people. I’m trying to draw people in “my” circle to your site, because I think you have an unusually soothing and articulate way of communicating. Hope you don’t mind another question. What’s the music in the background of Breathe Light? I’m looking for things of that genre, but not finding anything quite right. Many thanks again and all the best to you.

Question…..I have much anxiety going through a Sibo diagnosis. I’m having air I’m having much air hunger all the time even using your method. Your method works in the moment but half an hour later it’s back. Plus I have yawning. But I’m not breathing deep at all actually the opposite. Breathing through nose and lower abdomen. I need to go on a plane and stay at a hotel to go to a major hospital in L.A. took 6 months wait to get in where they treat Sibo. I don’ t know how I’m going to be able to survive doing this with this air hunger. I have 6 weeks. What can I do?

Hi! im trying to watch your videos, but each time I load one I am having to sit through at least two ads of about 3-4 minutes with no skip button; for someone with CFS this makes your videos difficult to access, using up energy I don't have; please would you adjust this setting on your videos. thank you

Wonderful, that shows your nervous system is really down-regulating. If there is a lot of yawning, then try yawning with the mouth closed to conserve CO2 and gain even more benefit from the exercise 🙏🏻
