Ramadan is one of the most sacred religious practices I’ve ever encounter. When truly focused on prayer and fasting such wonderful revelations and transformations can occur. I love how this video humanizes the experience for everyday people. I certainly was able to connect and found myself being called out especially the “not even water” comment! I say it to my best friend all the time who is Muslim!

Absolutely wonderful video! Much respect to these individuals for stepping outside of their comfort zones to learn more about themselves spiritually, and to understand what Islam and Ramadan are all about.

This was actually so amazing to see. As a Muslim who fasts, I forget some of the essential reflections on the movements my body does and is able to do. This video has made me reflect on myself and what I do during Ramadan because it can sometimes become a habit rather than a journey to be enjoyed for me. I will definitely take my time and spend the rest of my fasting days to really think about myself and my relationship with God. Thank you guys so much for participating in this project and thank you existence project team for creating this. You all are wonderful!!!❤

Ramadan teach you to control yourself ,being in total control of your body and emotions so that when the judgement day comes you will know that everything you have done you were responsible for it and whether it ws good deeds or sins you were the only one who made that choice , basically GOD gave us this excercice to help us learn how to make the right choice .

They gained so many insights in just 3 days. ❤ I’m so grateful to Allah Ta’ala that He has prescribed fasting for a month each year. As Basil says, long-term benefits versus short-term discomfort. 🙌🏾
@zaynkarim8418 ай бұрын
Basil’s metaphor about being on “low-power mode” deeply resonated with me. We spend so much time on unnecessary things every day, and Ramadan truly opens our eyes to that. Through this Ramadan, I’ve been able to reconnect more with my *most essential function*, which is worshipping Allah. ❤
