Like the amount of times where I’ve seen ppl praise an idol for their vocals only to see “she’s only X tier, so-and-so is much better and is SJSKSKKS tier” like you really gotta bring up the system that is, in practice, largely made-up because you feel insecure about your fave? Listen, I am tired of singing you praises everytime you drop a video but this is one of my favorite videos yet, if not my favorite. Just yes yes yes to everything!!! #5 Wonyoung stans catch that! No but seriously, how did nobody think that maybe SHE didn’t want to reveal that she got hurt during the filming of I AM? We know how Wonyoung is highly professional, always positive and never wants to represent an inconvenience to others. Maybe she knew her fans would worry too much and decided to keep it a secret. Same with her limited schedule, after all the hate she got, if I were her, I’d need 5 years off. Maybe she requested less work. We know StarPoop works their idols HARD, why wouldn’t they work their most profitable idol the most? It just doesn’t make sense, I believe Wonyoung had a say in this. #8 owww sooo true, and it goes further than that. Kpop fans don’t understand in general how kpop works. I saw the other day a voting poll for who people think should win SOTY and most of the comments were saying Cupid & Queencard for the most unrelated reasons to how the actual award shows work. Then I realize how these same people will go on to hate Ditto or I AM when one of them wins because they are the only two realistic options with Ditto leading. Their own ignorance will result in the hate the rightful winners will get. I mean look at what they did to IVE when Love Dive won fairly. Most kpop fans truly don’t understand how business works & other things related to the industry.

This is exactly what i thought about that whole Wonyoung and Starship situation. I clearly remember that a while ago Wonyoung literally had to juggle several different schedules in the span of two days, even having to fly back and forth and i just think SHE was the one who agreed to partaking in less schedules during I AM's promotional time. It was obvious she wasn't involved in as many activities as the other girls but i can't even complain knowing how overworked she's been since 2018. Also, knowing Wonyoung, it's likely she was also the one wanting to keep her injury a secret so she wouldn't concern the fans. Obviously Starship can be absolute trash, but we clearly don't know what goes on behind the scenes and even if Wonyoung didn't have a say in it, maybe it was Starship that wanted her to rest a little seeing how busy she's always been and i can't even be mad about it.

on the topic of number 3, this might be a controversial opinion but k-pop stan’s definitely overuse the terms racism/racist. maybe this is just because i give the word racism a lot of power but racism it’s a genuine belief that you are superior to someone else on the simple basis of race. an idol doing CA doesnt seem worthy enough of being called racism. i think we as stan’s need to become more comfortable with the term racially ignorant rather than flat out labeling something as racism. idk i just feel like the word racism deserves more power and there’s actual racists in the industry but everyone is so busy labeling everything racism that the real issues fade into the background. idk if any of this made sense but that’s my brain dump on that topic🥲
@soft4taeng Жыл бұрын
I totally agree, there are many idols being racially ignorant and kpop stans group them together with other idols who have done ACTUAL racist stuff. Racism means to hate someone because of their race, but just being racially ignorant doesn't mean you necessarily have something against that race. I totally understand people choosing to stop supporting idols who do CA, because at the end of the day they can come off as very insensitive, but i feel like you need to have a real proof before being sure an idol is actually racist. This only makes the real issue fade into the background, like you said.

This connects to the first opinion, I hate it when fans say " lets see you dance and sing at the same time 🤓" like thats not my job, and no one is denying that being an idol is hard, it is incredibly physically draining, but if your favs are making so many mistakes that they cant even give an average performance, then maybe they actually deserve the criticism. And maybe this is a little harsh, but if an idols physical state is preventing them from doing their job, then maybe being an idol isnt for them. I understand there are times where they are sick or injured and I absolutely dont want them performing in that state, but if its happening in every performance that they do, then that idol actually needs help because I don't think thats healthy at all. Anyway, love your videos.

I feel like wonyoung probably had some choice in getting less schedules. People automatically assume that Jinni left NMIXX for bad reasons when we simply don't know. We don't know how Moon Sua handles grief, some say the company had her come back too soon, but I feel like she probably chose to on her own. And with the random child and Wonyoung situation as well!! @vixxexo6855 Жыл бұрын
I don’t understand how that is a red flag even. Like sometimes there are stuff known about some idols even if the group has not debuted yet. Some idols have debuted before like Sakura and Chaewon where in IZ*ONE before Le Sserafim and many were predebut fan of Le Sserafim because of that. Groups formed from survival shows like ZeroBaseOne, Enhypen and Stray Kids also makes sense to have predebut fans as fans see the idols talent in the show.

There have been so many people starting fanwars to uplift these idols that haven't even debuted and they know nothing about and i feel like this is pretty weird because how can you get SO attached to someone whose personality and skills you don't even know? Obviously ZB1, Kep1er, Izone and other survival show groups are different because you got to know them through the show, you got to witness their talents and personalities so it makes sense to get attached, but it just doesn't make sense to become so overprotective of someone if the only thing you know about them is how they look, at least this is what i think.

The who paved the way discussion is just another case of k-pop Stans misusing words without knowing the full meaning of it. When it comes to music a single person cannot pave for the way that’s literally impossible. Music is not something an individual can pave the way for so please stop saying that your faves pave the way for everyone else just because they’re big heavily targeted towards armies because y’all need to shut up and put that who paved the way discussion to rest it’s annoying

I really don't understand why kpop fandoms are filled with red flags, in the arabic side of the fandom (most childish delulu side i've ever seen) there were two influencers that went to the same samsung(??) event skz and wony went to and the comments were filled with childish stays comments saying they shouldn't intreact with a pick me disrespectful girl and go to skz instead cuz the op talked about how excited they were to see wony 💀 and when someone tried to defend wonyoung they would bring the whole group down and sayctheir music sucks

This isn’t included but I find those that defend their fandom no matter what is a red flag. Or trying to seperate toxic fans from the fandom in an attempt to paint a fandom as better than it is. Fans always say “they’re not real fans if that say/do xyz”. Why can’t people accept that every fandom has toxicity, none is perfect or free from it? I don’t get the need to defend a fandom, I’m a blink and I’ve seen what some blinks have said and done. I could never stand by it personally.

I think you might be misunderstanding the outrage over companies buying out as many other companies as they can. We know that it's standard business, but a lot of us just hate the concept of a single companie having monopoly over an industry. If one company dictates all the idol entertainment, they could very well adapt awful practices and everyone who enjoys the content would have to either give up on their hobby or stick with the shitty industry. I feel like purchasing a company should be incredibly taxed and smaller but steadily growing companies should receive tax benefits, so that there's always a variety of options on the market. It's not an opinion coming from a lack of understanding of business, it's the opposite.

I agree with every point.. kpop fans as a whole are so problematic.. another point (acc to me) is telling ur opinion in every single thing . If there is a video and all the comments are positive and happy there will be someone who’ll type something negative and ruin the mood of everyone and create fanwars , like just keep ur opinion to yourself . Before I used to think 2nd gen paved the way but after watching a video of bora city magazine (about paving the way) , I kinda realised it was mostly the contribution of bts , but I came across some yt shorts which said other kpop groups had paved the way but I didn’t type anything cuz I didn’t want to waste my energy arguing about a simple point and talk to ppl (mostly kids) who wouldn’t understand it ..

Literally just yesterday I saw armys trying to trend HYBE APOLOGIZE TO JIMIN because of some lines from a game of some sort for BTS and the lines were Jimin basically saying he didn't think he was that talented or whatever. But like did it EVER occur to them that maybe this is what Jimin actually used to think? Maybe not anymore, but whether it was past or present doesn't even matter at this point. Would they then try to trend JIMIN APOLOGIZE TO JIMIN if Jimin came out and said he really did used to think like that? It really is so wild how adamant stans are about blaming the company for EVERYTHING.
@cherryjwan_ Жыл бұрын
"HYBE APOLOGIZE TO JIMIN" was about jimin having to apologize for asking too much when he just asked if he could get more music videos for his album songs..... in this case. It was the company's fault. I hope we're on the same page bc i dont understand when this happened..

Like when I say something about Wonyoung being cringe and not the prettiest girl in K-pop (not calling her ugly she very pretty) Wonyoung stans call me jealous and uglier than her. There’s nothing to be jealous about honestly. She’s just another K-pop idol to me but ppl put her on a high pedestal.
