Hey guys! I know a lot of you have been asking for my thoughts regarding the recent Danny Masterson/Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis/Thorn situation. I want to be clear that I haven’t made donations to Thorn in years and have focused on other non-profits since. There was never a formal partnership or anything like that in place beyond me fundraising and making personal donations but again, that was years ago. I spoke about all of it in depth on one of my podcasts, The Sesh. If you want to hear my thoughts on it all feel free to check it out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5zZonieaK2Ehtk

the fact that she survived that accident is crazy. it’s almost like the boys somehow didn’t let her die because they were going to make her live with the consequences of what she did. because i feel like it’s literally a miracle that she didn’t suffer from any permanent damage.
@sheedee2

thats also what i have been saying... she also wanted to end her own life...but in a twist of events she survives!...which she was absolutely not counting on...because now she has to go on living the rest of her life with the terrible guilt of what she did which is enaugh mental torture to begin with and add to that her life in prison which definitely will not be a walk in the park! her life is now basically a living hell.

Legit. My mum and I watched this video together and said that if _I_ were in the hospital after a really awful crash, where my two friends were killed, the LAST thing she would be doing is responding to Instagram comments 😒🙄 She wouldn’t be able to do anything or think about anything else except the horror of the situation, devastation for the other families and the hope I wouldn’t be paralysed or brain damaged! Any person who can honestly focus on their daughter’s Instagram at that time, and worst of all: try to say that HER DAUGHTER is suffering most of all, even more than the mothers who lost their sons, is absolutely repulsive. Like mother, like daughter.

This took place about 15 mins away from where I live. Davion's mom is my pharmacist and until I saw the trial videos I had no idea this was her son. You would never know because she always has a smile on her face and goes out of her way to get to know you and talk to you, and if she raised her kids to be as kind and compassionate as her then the world truly lost a great soul. My heart goes out to the families.

Davion's adoptive parents are the type of parents every foster kid dreams of. They fully loved their kids and expected to be able to love and support them their entire lives, and now can only do that for 2 out of 3. The worst feeling in the world is to love something so incredibly much only to lose it much too soon 💔

She was smiling through the trial! *SMILING!* If I was one of those boys' parents I don't know how I would have held myself back (Davion's adoption story broke my heart). The sister's speech that "she always takes the easy way out" plus the smiling *plus* the way the mom has to bring up the Facebook and Halloween incidents? She seems like the type of mom that is always a) worried about her reputation and b) making excuses for her daughter. "Can't you just suspend my license for like a month?" showed not only a lack of empathy but responsibility. Why wasn't her first question, "Are they OK?"

Her mother, wow....in my opinion, that shrine that she says was created was not because she missed Dominic, but because she had been so obsessed with him in life and now he was gone. That smirk in the court room tells me that shes okay with her decision. Whether she had planned in killing herself as well or not, in the end she got what she was hoping for. Dominic would never leave her and find someone who treated him with actual love and kindness. I pray for the parents, siblings, and family and friends of these boys.

I’m not sure I completely agree. I do agree you shouldn’t drop hints and you should end it, but unless there is a compelling reason to sever ties and burn bridges, I don’t see why that’s necessary. Not all relationships NEED to end in animosity, in fact, there are plenty of people who can be quite amicable in break ups. Before I was married, I looked at how the people I dated talked about their exes as an indicator of whether I was actually going to date them. If every ex was a “crazy psycho b*tch” then that said more about them than their exes. People who can maintain civility with at least some of their exes and don’t villainize all of them show a level of maturity.

@@BoringTroublemaker I can understand your statement. Burning bridges doesn't mean you can't be civil. If you want to be done with the person, then be done. Perhaps I should've added toxic relationships. However, I've been in plenty scenarios that my being cordial somehow mislead here into thinking I want to get back together. You can't anticipate how people will react. I agree that I would never date someone that can be disrespectful of their ex partner but unless you share a child, there's no reason to stay involved with an ex. How many crime stories have we heard about a jealous ex, or someone retaliating poorly to the fact that their partner hinted at ending it. If I decide to end things "there's no more we, so I'm thinking about me"

@@BoringTroublemakerYou're absolutely correct that the way someone relates to their ex is an indicator of their behavior and maturity. It's also an indicator on whether they're ready for a new relationship or not. When you're truly over someone, you don't hate them, you're just done with them. As the saying goes, "it's a fine line between love and hate." The last thing you want in a new relationship is for your partner to still have a passionate feeling, positive or negative, about their previous relationship. Additionally, when a dating prospect has numerous ex partners that they hate... That's a pattern, and the problem may be them, not the exes.

Just to clarify something: I've had POTS for over a decade now. The disorder does not cause you to press your foot down on a gas pedal and keep it there until the car you're driving reaches 100mph. It really pissed me off to hear that her mom tried to use Mackenzie apparently having POTS to explain/excuse what she did. That is just incredibly dumb and shows what kind of person her mom is, cause she knows that's dumb; she just doesn't want for her daughter to have to take any accountability for her actions, which is clearly why she is the way she is.

Calling Dominic her "soulmate" in court is a slap in the face to his memory and to his family, and she (or at least her lawyer) should have known that. Saying you love someone is one thing, but this sounds like she thought she owned him. She only has the ability to spin this narrative because he's not here anymore to give his take on their relationship, or point out that "soulmates" don't kill each other. My hunch is that she was obsessed, afraid of losing him, and didn't care whether she lived or died in the crash. She may honestly not remember anything, but her actions since speak volumes about her character and lack of remorse. The way her mom describes her "grief" is probably identical to how she would have behaved if he'd dumped her--wallowing in self-pity. The fact that she made collateral damage out of one of her "friends" is even more disgusting.

Couldn't agree more! In the moment she crashed the car, she did it with malice and malicious intent. She calculated very carefully the whole event and didn't care about adding another person to the plan. So even if she said she can't remember anything, and we believed that statement, what she did at that time, their is no doubt she was fully aware of her actions. Therefore she IS guilty. One thing that was failed to be mentioned in regards to Dominic was that it is clear that he was in an abusive relationship. It is so unfortunate how normalized it is for teenagers & young adults to be in such abusive relationships & that it’s overlooked. In my opinion I believe that McKenzie was the type of person that felt that if she couldn’t have him nobody would & that is scary & so devastating. You do not have ownership over anyone regardless if you are in a relationship or in love. You have no right to decide when it is their time to leave this earth. I pray that something like this case never happens again. I also pray for Dominic & Davion as well as their families during this grief. Well said and I agree completely. Far to many abusive relationships go overlooked more specifically, the ones where the female is the aggressor. A woman gets mad at her boyfriend and it's normal to " key his car, or smash his things" ... us women are just "emotional" 🙄 they say.. I do not know the stats but I'd assume it's 50/50 or at least 60/40% of women that kill their spouses or partners.. it's not rare but rarley gets talked about. It's sad and disturbing. And you are absolutely right, nobody has the right to take ownership of a person or decide when they will die. I really hope she doesn't get out of prison. You can tell this behavior is simply in her and enabled by her mother. That was replying to Model agencies and encouraging her to go out and have fun after something like this happened 😒😒😒 Blessings and Prayers to the families of those sweet boys. Davion’s little sister spoke so eloquently. You can hear her pain as she speaks, I pray they find peace. Also: Mackenzie didn’t deserve to have “a moment of fun” that Halloween. I don’t think her mother (or Mackenzie) understood the gravity of Mackenzie’s actions even after the trial. It’s wild.

I was going to say the same thing. She always takes time to let us learn about their lives, and how they changed the lives of those around them. We are fortunate to learn about these sad stories, and keep those victims memories alive. I'm grateful that she does this and works hard for the families too.

I can't stop thinking about how terrifying their last moments were. I also can't picture what that drive must have been like. Did the conversation steer to why she was driving in a different direction than they would normally take? What music were they listening to? Did Dominic sense anything from MacKenzie when they got in the car? I feel like there must have been bad vibes. Or maybe they were all having a great time and literally didn't expect it until the moment she accelerated and didn't have a chance to even scream. My best friend growing up lost her fiance from a horrific car accident when her and a group of friends were speeding driving home one night. She was in the car that was following the car he was in. He was 1 out of 4 people in the car that didn't survive. She watched the crash happen. Accidents like this are so so horrific for everyone involved and I can only imagine how much worse it is to know it was intentional in this case. It's truly beyond words.

I personally have POTS. It has caused unreasonable disruption in my life. It has seen me as an adult woman who could not stand up without fainting. It had seen me on my hands and knees crawling to the bathroom to relieve myself because I could not stand without falling. It has seen me refuse to drive for over a year to protect other people on the road. POTS effects different people in different ways and can be debilitating. It has NOT seen me driving under the influence and risking other people’s lives. It has NOT seen me endangering others. POTS is NOT a cheap excuse to behave recklessly. Shame on her, this all turned out as it should, if you ask me!

Yea, after reading what you wrote, I can’t understand how her parents allowed her to continue to drive. If POTS created what they described as her issues, wouldn’t you worry every time she got behind the wheel? So what if she throws a tantrum. NO, not only would you endanger her life, but others as well!

I never comment on your videos, but this case has really shaken me up. The fact that Makenzie’s mom doesn’t understand it’s the COSTUME Makenzie wore on Halloween rather than her going out says a lot about her mother, and how she was raised. Her disregard for her daughter’s atrocious actions is truly disgusting. I give my absolute best to Dom and Davion’s family. I pray they find comfort during this time, and forever. ❤️

I think in her mind it was an accident… mental illness can make us lose control over our impulses and that’s not an excuse, but she is young and I agree with the father of D, hopefully she can get treatment, away from her mother. Just coming from someone who understands emotional abuse and how it can look normal or like a parent spoiling their kid from the outside. In fact most narcissistic parents spoil their kids rotten as long as their kids do everything they say, which is usually really heavy on a child emotionally but they do it anyway because mom is their world inherently.
