I've been into fitness for years in addition to working as a personal trainer (NASM); I get a VERY regular knot under my left shoulder blade that can cause effectively crippling pain that can all but end an upper body workout in its infancy. With the FIRST exercise demonstrated here, I began to experience relief. LISTEN to this man. He knows what he's talking about. Subbed instantly.

Not sure if you have tried it but I just found out a week ago that I can add more pressure to the knot and get in deeper if I push it against the backrest of my office chair. I don't have the elastic bands but I went through the same motions and could feel the relief. I think that is the therapy that will work for me. My knot was just a few inches lower than where hers is. -Thank You So Much!
