Already had two in my steam library. Added the rest. Iron Pineapple beat you too some so I already knew about them. Found the boss for bloody spear challenging and is a really cool concept.

As an avid souls player, Cervus blade was actually incredibly impressive! For this game to be made by such a small team shows what can be done just be passion/interest. Its FREE, so I recommend it to anyone who enjoys souls games. It lasted less than an hour, but was very fun.

I have beat all the souls games and finished thymesia not long ago and it reminded me of a demo of thymesia (not as much variety in combat of course, but similar in a way). I would pay for a bigger game if they just added a small bit of variety (3 skill paths) and a couple levels (thymesia had like 4 chapters i believe with 3 levels each).

@@AyJay123 I don’t think I’ve heard of Thymesia before but it looked like more action heavy soulslike which is cool. Might have to check that one out in the future

@@Keenangraz thymesia was really fun. you can typically catch it on sale for 15 either by itself or bundled with blasphemous i believe. It reminds me of a combination of bloodnorne (aesthetic) and sekiro (focus on parry system). It didnt get popular because alot of people complained about it at launch, but its so good! I think on sale its a steal. Even after beating all the souls games and some souls likes, thymesia was fun!

Yeah, since there’s only one fight it’s not a lot of commitment and you can still get a feel for how combat might work in other souls-likes. I think Cervus blade would be the most well rounded experience though
