I did yoga for connection today and the breathing was perfect for me. Halfway through my dog started poke me with her huge plastc collar (she had big surgery two days ago) , I took her our, walked her aroung the house, she did nothing, we got back, the she kidnapped my head inside her collar and started licking my face, I started laughing and that was a treat for the day. Now I need a tiny nap, before going to do little bit of garden work💚🍂leaves from the Fall🌹cutting the roses🌞Namaste

Thank you Adriene, you've just made a stressful evening a little better, and calmer. ❤ The reason for my stress, is because Christmas is getting ever closer. For some, it's a time of joy, and celebration, but for me it just dredges up past trauma. It's a hard time of year for me, and is often anxiety provoking, and very stressful. Of course I have moments of joy too, you can feel more then one thing. But most of my feelings, for this time of year are anxious ones. But your yoga, always helps to ease my anxiety. Thank you Adriene, you are a star. I love you. 🧡 see you again tomorrow. Namaste. 🙏💜

Thank you Adriene, for being just what I needed today. You saying about balancing postures, and not being able to hide in them. Really resonated with me today. I have a lot of trouble being myself, being true to who I am. I often end up putting on a mask of someone like me, but who isn't quite me. I'm trying not to do that so much anymore, but its hard at times. Your yoga practices really help me, you remind me who I really am, and you make me smile. So thank you so much Adriene for all that you do. I love you, and I love the yoga you've shown me, and the way of life you've taught me. See you again on the mat tomorrow. Namaste. 🙏🧡🦋

Thank you so much for this! It’s so difficult to find absolute beginners breakdowns like this. I’ve been doing yoga off and on for years, but I’m quite heavy and get migraines. Some poses are just impossible for me because of my size and sometimes I can’t get the full pose without triggering a migraine. This is one of those poses... despite how “easy” it looks it’s one of the more challenging for me. I wish I’d known it could be modified right down to the toe on the ground. I would have been far more likely to maintain my yoga practice if I didn’t feel like I was “doing it wrong” or being slack taking a less stressful version of each pose. Thank you for not assuming everyone just knows the poses and has the requisite flexibility before we start. ❤️

Build🧱 - April 2024 I build balance and centring into my life. I love these foundations practices to really focus on a pose, to centre the mind and balance the body. Nothing much happens in them but i find them so grounding as i consciously move through the motions of a pose, accepting where i am at every stage and breathing love and light into my body💖. I love how, as Adriene says, with balancing poses it’s different every day. That’s one of the reasons that make them so fun! It’s like a mini roulette of balance😊. Vrksasana is also one of my favourite poses and i love revisiting it and seeing how far i come each time as i am now at the point where my next goal is to stand with my eyes closed! I’ve managed about a couple of seconds before i either have to reopen them or i become a swaying, falling tree but i can really feel the progress every time i return🌲🌴🌳 💚. Namaste yoga people and happy weekend🙏👏✨💓!! Xx

Whenever I would take yoga classes I would dread doing the standing poses because I would be off balance and feel embarrassed. But your video really helped! I always thought I just did not have that strong of a core, but what you said about lengthening up the spine is what I have been missing I swear! all of a sudden I can balance THANK YOU!!

Thank you for posting this superb video of Vrksasana. I find this one of the most difficult poses and your methodical and calm demonstration is really helpful. Oddly, I find this pose easier in my pre-breakfast practice than in my weekly evening class. The hardest part for me is not to lose concentration- or rather not to see my thought get diverted to other things than the execution of the pose- as, when that happens, I inevitably lose my balance! Many thanks once again for sharing this instruction!

I decided to start doing yoga at home from KZbin videos and one of your videos was the first to come up. I am thankful for that. I started with a recent video and I am very impressed at how better of a yogi master you've become. I am saying that with no experience in yoga, just as a student. These videos are GOLD and extremely valuable. I also thought they were harder to find than your other playlists/videos. I think this stuff is so good that it would warrant a revisit. Although people might not come to your channel for the foundations of yoga, I think a lot of people will want to learn the foundations of yoga from you once they have participated in a few of your videos. That's what I did. I would bet good money that "Foundations of Yoga with Adriene V2" would bring in a massive amount of views for you over time, considering these ones don't seem to do as well as your recent videos.

I have been told my other instructors how I've gotten better with my balance as well as with the ball and step. In the process of it all. I've noticed how. I'm doing tree pose more and more without any issues. When I poured me a big cup of water I had the cup in great freezer door filling up my cup and was able to slide my foot in and up to my inner thigh without any issues. I noticed the same thing tonight when talking to my tonight my arm lying on her bed and was able to do the same j had done it not thinking about it I won't do it with my shoes on but it's just usually when Im not wearing any or if I'm wearing flip-flops I'll take my foot our and will do it not even thinking about it This pose is helping make such a difference in my balance and posture and. Much easier it's become.
