I don't drink alcohol either, and made some Coquito...one with alcohol (for my husband) and one without. I took a sip of the one with alcohol and liked it more 😂

you could add a,little rum essence or add the rum as you turn off the stove, the heat will cause the alcohol to evaporate leaving the flavour. After sweetening, bottle and leave for at least 24hrs for the flavours to develop (with alcohol or not)

I'm from Canada. Fresh Sorrel aka. Hibiscus is hard to find. Dried Hibiscus tea leaves are expensive, especially considering how much is needed to make a pitcher of Sorrel. Unfortunately, I don't think I can afford to try this.

Hey there. Also in Canada. Maybe try an Asian grocery in the tea aisle. I got a decent sized bag for $5.99. Hope you are able to find it affordably in your area.

@@darrenmaharaj it is a member of the hibiscus family and called such in other countries. If you see dried hibiscus being sold in Europe , America especially in health food stores it most likely is sorrel. That's where I got mine. i think it is also called hibiscus in Jamaica.
