I live in northern Colorado and drive in the mountains all the time, learned to drive her, had a business where I did clean vacation homes, I've been on very high elevation, twisty, turns, steep, hairpin turn gravel mountain roads, I've NEVER been stuck, thank the lord, but I see these roads and wonder about zoning? Civil engineering? Many if the canyon roads here are old stagecoach roads, miners trails, but they've been widened, graded, whatever is needed to make them safe and drivable, if they've done it here why can't it be better there? Makes no sense to me

I've worked at some hotel/restaurants. Depending who they asked, just some young dumb employee may have just said "yeah whatever," just not caring and not wanting to deal with anyone. The hotel manager definitely would have said no, but I wouldn't be shoked if they found someone to say yes.

After seeing the 'short" yesterday, I couldn't wait to hear their explanation!! It didn't disappoint. Like everyone else, "they only left it there for a minute". With the timeframe for the initial call, for you to show up, hook up and get it back to the yard, you know that they're lying. They had no consideration for the property owner whatsoever.

My business in next to a Burger King on a highway in the city. Our parking lot doesn't have an entrance, it's about 60 feet of no-curb slope into the street. Semis and campers will often drive into town, see they can't get into BK's lot, and park in mine. They take up the 7 slots along the street (including a handicap) and a lane of traffic. No customers of mine can get in, and all those parked deeper in my lot can't get out. It's really fun to tell my customers they can't leave because a trucker is taking an hour break at BK.

No one told them that it was ok….THEY decided it was ok. In no circumstance would most normal people think that was ok. I have seen more truck camper rigs that park wherever there is room. Now granted, when you are hauling a train, there are likely few places where they can park. Best to stick with huge campsites if you really feel that it is necessary to drag all of that. I have always thought it strange that people need to haul a bed, a toilet, all the pots and pans, the microwave AND the TV. It is cheaper to find a nice hotel room. Just remember….PAY TO PARK! 😂

He recognizes that they are upset and tries to be friendly with them, and even gives them advice on how not to get towed in the future. It also cost the business 1 to 3 % to use that service. I've always been told CASH IS KING. you hear people on this channel say their not using an ATM to get cash because they don't want to pay the ATM fee. Why would EA have to pay that fee for someone who was illegally parked. All the signs posted be it a parking sign or a speed limit sign aren't suggestions.

Towing that camper setup contraption required work above and beyond the usual tow and carried much more than the usual risk. In my opinion, that tow should have been many times your usual illegal parking towing fees and I hope you got that. I can't imagine any business owner tolerating this non-guest camper setup in their parking lot blocking customers' spaces anymore than 15 to 30 minutes, certainly not 6 hours. I'm greatly impressed with your expertise in towing this huge camper setup and, especially, your fantastic backing skills !

With the tow of the truck and trailer, it should count as two impounds with a total cost of at least $700. Having a truck and a trailer the size they did, they should have been renting a parking spot at a campground, but then again with the crowd that was in the area all the sites were probably already rented. They needed to plan ahead for a trip such as this.
